Foccacia Bread

3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp yeast
1 cup water
2 tbsp oil
1 egg
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp crushed rosemary

Grease large cookie sheet. Combine 1 cup flour, sugar, salt and yeast in bowl. Mix well. Heat water and oil until warm. Add to flour mixture along with egg. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in 1 3/4 cups flour until dough pulls from side of bowl. Knead in 3/4 cup flour on floured surface. Cover with bowl, let sit 5 minutes. Place dough on cookie sheet. Roll out to 12" circle. Cover with greased plastic wrap and cloth towel. Let rise in warm place for 30 minutes. Heat oven to 400F. Uncover dough, poke holes in with speen handle at 1" intervals. Drizzle olive oil on dough. Sprinkle with crushed rosemary. Bake for 17-27 minutes until just golden. Cool on rack. Serve with dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
