Stage 2 seems much different from the metal walkways and machinery in the floor below; but even within this somewhat calmer atmosphere, still lurks tough enemies and traps. |
| All of Stage 2 was once the secret laboratory of Dr. Tenecha, which at the time was located inside a mountain within the Tohjo Mountain range. It was made mobile when the Fortress Tank was constructed around it. |

In the upper level of this floor is the control area of the Fortress Tank. It would be fitting that the bosses here would be the tag team of Mewthree and Dr. Tenecha; seeing as how this was the first lair they committed their nefarious deeds in. |
