Our Secrets to a Wonderful Marriage

We are not self proclaimed marriage experts...
We only wish to share what we have learned....
We have had several friend with troubled marriages ask us how we do it as we "seem to have it figured out". So we thought we'd pass along these simple things that make our marriage work so well.

But first here is a little background....

We were married December 3,1994 after dating off and on for 2 yrs. and a 1 yr. engagement. These years were very important in building the foundation of our marriage. They were not easy years...full of fights, breakups and makeups and really getting to know each other and discovering what we really wanted. And in the 3 1/2 years since we were married, We have rarely fought. So without further ado... on to our secrets.

• Everytime we sit down to dinner I make sure there is a lighted candle on the table. Candlelight dinners everynight cant help but enhance a romance.
• We find happiness in making each other happy. Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing Terry smile when I've gone out of my way to do something he likes.
• We have a *cuddle time* everynight. Even if its only for 5 minutes. When one of us goes to bed the other goes in to cuddle for awhile.
