Also available in Build 34 is an upgrade of a full range of font types available for main chat.

Y!mLite has also increased performance due to optimisation in the program.  Text now scrolls faster and smoother.

For an real feel to Emoticons, Y!mLite includes real graphics. For a screen shot of colourful Emoticons please see Screen Shots.

The ability to filter swear words gives the user the option see when swear words have been used within text  but without filtering the entire message.  An example looks like this. "user: hi ******* stupid ***** ".

Y!mLite has the ability to remember web links which have been posted to the chat room.  This gives the user the ability to view the list for web sites addresses without scrolling the text.  Also the user can be away from keyboard and still view the web addresses posted to the room.  This option is called ViewURLs and is found on the menu bar.

This client also features anti room flooding ability which will block out the messages of any user who send the same repeated message.  The green status bar at the top of the chat text will announce any user who has attempted to flood.

Y!mLite allows for customisation of font size of the chat text for any users who would like to see the text displayed in higher then 10 font size.  Likewise to decrease can make the font size smaller.  These options are found under View on the menu bar.

Any user can view which friends are currently logged on line from the Messenger option on the menu bar.  The pop up list allows several options from a right-mouse-click including go to friend.

The most interesting feature is entering the room in Stealth mode (option available form the Toys menu).  Stealth allows a user to view chat in the chat room without being listed as having entered the room or part of the room list.  This is more like simulating a  detective, however you can still chat to the room and if you do, you will blow your cover as Y!mLite will still post your message to the chat room.  This option can be disabled at any time from the came menu option.

Y!mLite comes with the option to check if any further updates to the client are available from the download site. This option will check build numbers for you and allow you to download the latest version.  It is found under menu option Updates.

Any user may choose to fade their text according to their own colour preference as well as alternate the colours of their text .  This is found as an option on Customising bar.

Also available is the option to have all pms turned off while chatting so that no user can pm without prior permission.

Users of Y!mLite also have the option to go to other rooms by choosing the Yahoo Rooms option from the Customising bar.

Add Friend and Delete Friend available from the main menu still to be implemented.
