Here is a picture of the assembled short block. You can see that we
installed a new Centerforce clutch.
As you have probably noticed, all of the
work was performed in my backyard.
This
is a shot of the cylinder head’s combustion chamber.You can see the stainless steel 1.89” intake and 1.59” exhaust
valves.
Here you can see the polished exhaust ports. My father cleaned them
up with a Dremil power tool.
This is a side by side comparison of the stock unported lower manifold
(right) and the 88' Extrudehone polished lower manifold. (left). The polished
manifold has been port matched to cylinder head.
