Here is a brief history of your Battalion.
Originally Planned as a reproduction of the weekly report to higher
headquarters, Lt. Carnine enlarged it to its present size.
Into it
has been incorporated some of your individual deed and actions.
It is hoped that in the years to come you will thumb through these pages and receive from them some measure of compensation for the sacrifices endured by you and the others
