KNITTING MAGAZINES
  • Knitting Now Newsletter
  • Interweave Magazine
This site doesn't give away much about the magazine, but you can view some of the main patterns in current issue. They have links to their other mags on spinning, weaving, etc.
  • Knitter's Magazine
This magazine has lots of really classic patterns in it. Some of them are very difficult, but they rate them so you'll know if you're biting off too much. Back issues are worth ordering. Top-notch magazine with lots of technical how-to's.
  • Vogue Knitting
The magazine site has a few lessons and a preview of the current issue. I always buy this magazine!
  • Knit 'n' Style
I usually buy this magazine, too. They have previews of the current issue on the site. Check out their "sites to see"...they have some interesting links.
  • KnitNet
This is an on-line magazine with free patterns. I just recently discovered it and really like it!
  • Rebecca...this is really my favorite knitting magazine. This mag is from Germany and has really beautiful and hip designs in it. You can buy the magazine on-line through eknitting.com or through theknitter.com. Most LYS (local yarn shops) have this magazine, too. Love it whether or not I knit any of it!
  • Adriafil & Roviscio
This is an Italian magazine. If you can figure out how to navigate around in their site, there are lots of free patterns. You also have to figure out how these European sizes will fit (Rebecca, too). Europeans are definitely skinnier than we are (and they only write patterns for skinny sizes by the way).
