Teacups & Friends provides everything you need to host a private dress-up tea party for a special little lady.       T & F owner, Donya, is proud to offer her unique, hand-selected collection of children's tea party items and personal attention to every party to ensure a wonderful experience.

What cities / area do you serve? [top]

Teacups & Friends serves California's East Ventura County and Conejo Valley area (Agoura, Camarillo, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village).  Additional Ventura County and Los Angeles County cities may also be available with a minimum party charge.

Does Teacups & Friends host and attend the party? [top]

Teacups & Friends sets-up everything you need to host an elegant dress-up tea party, but we do not attend the party.  With the help of our detailed planning guide, you are able to host a private party in the comfort of your home with your personal touches and no time constraints.

What does Teacups & Friends provide? [top]

On the morning of the party, Teacups & Friends brings and completely sets tables and arranges display of dresses and accessories - all ready for guests to arrive.  After your party is over, T&F will return to pack-up all items.

Prior to the party, T&F will provide our party planning guide, complete with recommended party timeline, food ideas, games, crafts, etc.  T&F will also call to discuss your specific party needs and answer any questions you may have.

T & F can also provide additional services, such as hand-made invitations, custom party favors, etc.  Please call to discuss details.

The dress up items will be displayed in a vintage steamer trunk and old suitcases. The dress up items include unique dresses, skirts, and tops along with vintage hats, gloves, necklaces, and a variety of tap and party shoes. These are artfully arranged so guests are greeted with a dress up area inviting them to come and play.

We provide child-sized white round tables and chairs.  We set the tables with a variety of vintage linen table clothes, china plates, cups and saucers and real child-sized silverware.  We provide place cards for each guest, along with a darling swan for serving mints and colored napkins with flower napkin rings.  The tables have silk flower centerpieces and doilies, and each is set with two fun teapots so all the guests can pour their own!

What days and times are available for party? [top]

T&F only reserves one party per day, so you are able to host the party at any time and for as long as you wish.  T&F will arrange time (typically the morning of the party) to set tables and arrange dresses, accessories, etc.  Recommended start time for party is between 11am and 2pm.

How far in advance do I need to reserve party date? [top]

If you have a specific date in mind, we recommend that you contact us right away to check availability.  If you like, we will "pencil" you in and call to confirm with you before opening date to someone else.  Availability for Winter and early Spring dates becomes very limited, so be sure to call as soon as possible during these times. 

What do you do to make the Birthday Girl feel special? [top]

We want the Birthday Girl to feel extra special at her party so we provide a specially decorated chair for her to sit in and a bell for her to ring during the tea when she needs something.  Teacups & Friends also brings a gift for the birthday girl to help remember her tea... a small set of tea party dishes or fun dress up accessories. 

Are references available? [top]

Most customers choose Teacups & Friends for themselves after being invited to a previous T & F's tea party and enjoying the beautiful tea party collection that is provided in a friendly and professional manner.  If you wish to speak with one of our previous customers, just let us know.

What age children enjoy dress-up tea parties? [top]

Although ladies of all ages enjoy dressing up for a fancy tea party, our dresses and tables are sized for children 4 to 8 years old.  We also have ideas for any younger or older guests you would like to invite.  Our collection also includes dress-up items for boys.

What about boy guests? [top]

You don't have to leave boy guests out!  We have several great ideas for how to involve boy guests of all ages and Dads!  For dressing up we have white shirts, vests, bowties and hats for the boys.  They can attend the party and participate in the tea or help out as waiters if that suits their personalities better!  Honestly, most boys really enjoy themselves at the parties.
