Page 2 - Ant-Weigh Robots (cont.):

So, I will use the Acoms servo to drive an ant, it will have a small wedge and grippy wheels and will push all the other 'bots around =)

11/5/02 - 18:40: started on pusher ant, araldited the two drive servos together, back to back and am waiting for glue to dry, cut out a chassis, but because of weight it won't be used (because I am so happy with it, it is a perfect rectangle of the right size and it is clean and smooth [rare for me :¬)] it will go into another robot), on top of that will go a 4.8v PCB mount battery (from Maplin, Order-Code BN25C, £4.99), the receiver will be glued in place (I would of preferred to use Velcro onto a chassis, but like I said it was scraped due to weight, so thats is the only strong way to do it :[ ), not sure what armour (if any, that is. weight is a problem, so there may be none), check back soon for updates!
