Page 2 - Robots (cont.):

The feather-weight has gone through different designs (none made although thought about a lot), one such was a VERY fast robot, but it turned out the motors were too weak

Now... I plan to use 2x drill (£12 from B&Q or Homebase, 550RPM), with the motor that was too fast on a special wheel that can roll forwards and back easily, but when the motor turns it forces the front of the robot around and giving it more speed when turning, the signal   for the ESC for that will be from the non mixed Left/Right wheel (on a trigger/wheel TX not a stick type one) signal, and the main drive motor ESC will be from the MIXED signal, any extras will be from a 6 Channel "Skysports6" radio, both transmitting to the same 6 (can be used as a seven when the power comes in through a Y-Lead along with the a servo) receiver. It is at the test/prototype stage, more soon!
