When we got this project I wasn't very thrilled. I never really liked hospitals. The way they looked and smelled made me sick. Needless to say I didn't want to be there. The position I took was the Teen Room. It's where kids can go to have a little while to have fun or to help get their minds off the reasons they are in the hospital. So i sucked it up and did what I had to do. After a couple of weeks I came to find out that all the kids wanted was to have fun and to be spoken to like a kid rather than a patient. With only a week left and having built semi-meaningful relationshipt with the kids there was a little misunderstanding and I pulled out of the Teen Room and pulled out of contact with the patients. So in the end after what happened the last week I feel all the fun I had and friends I made were all for nothing . . . . .
