Since the team all had different jobs around the hospital we didn't see much of each other during the day. So, of course, jen came up with a little activity that would help us stay motivated throughout the project. After a team dinner, a mug was passed around the table and we each drew another teammates name. For the remaining time in Little Rock, we all got to leave surprises for our "secret" people. It was fun to hide things, do artsy stuff for our person - but my favorite part was seeing their face when they received the treats. I loved walking into the main area or my bedroom and seeing something wiht my same on it, what a great feeling!! I knew who my person was from the hand writing and thought provoking quotes, but some had no clue who was doing all the nice stuff for them. Hillary went all around the hospital - the main treasure was hidden back at the guy's apartment, an action figure - Thomas even took it to the movies with him that night!! It was neat the way we revealed ourselves after, yes, another team dinner Jen busted out tubs of playdough. We were to make something that reminded us of our person and put it in the middle of the table. There was a crazy assortment, hald were sexual related - mostly everyone figured out what object was theirs, then in turn realized who had been leaving them knick-knacks for a few weeks. It was a wonderful little activity, it really does show you that something simple like sayint "Have a beautiful day," can really make a difference.
