You are probably laughing right now...lol...that's fine, I was laughing too when I decided that I was going to do this. Go on, get it all out your system...ok...ready? lol

This is a 1990 Geo Storm, base model. It has a 1.6L SOHC engine. This Storm  is rated at 90hp, with a redline of 6500 rpm. This is the brother/sister of the Isuzu Impulse. As like many Japanese Manufacturers, Isuzu created a different version  for GM to be able to contend in the 4-cyl compact car market. GM did very well, selling very many. However discontinued after 1993.

It is surprisingly quick for the rated hp, especially over 3500 rpm. I can't make the wheels squeal in second like when we first had it...lol...but let's see if the future motor swap will change that).

The Storm has gone thru hell and back, as well as thru 3 base motors since 1996. I am probably going to keep it until I can no longer keep it running, or the junk yards run out of motors. I figured that it was about time to make it presentable and quick enough to gain some respect. The storm is actually a pretty fun car to work on, parts are very easily found, this in turn makes it pretty hard not to want to see what gains can come from this car. I hope you follow me along to see what potential there may actually be in this Geo Storm.
