Owner of an Electronic service company dealing with design and installation of master antenna and cable systems for small nursing homes, apartments, and condominiums and am also involved in sales, service and installation of CB radio systems and various home entertainment systems. In charge of all day to day business functions including advertising, accounting, bidding, scheduling of jobs, shipping and receiving, and prospecting of new business.
10/1985 - 10/1987: US Coast Guard Elizabeth City, N.C. Avionics Technician My primary duty was as aircrewmember aboard C-130 and HU-25 (falcon jet) aircraft as radio/radar search operator. I was responsible for maintaining communications with all aircraft in search and rescue operations and relay positions and search results to land based communication centers. Duties a radar operator were to locate and plot positions of possible targets during search operations. My secondary duties were as test equipment calibration technician. I was responsible for maintaining all electronic test equipment on station and ensuring that calibration standards and periods were up to date.
10/1984 - 10/1985: US NAVY Jacksonville, Fla. Calibration Technician I was a calibration technician at the precision measurement equipment lab at the depot maintenance department at naval air station in Jacksonville. My duties involved the calibration of level three cal standards used by the PMEL labs throughout the navys ships and shore stations. These standards included electronic time and frequency measurement and generating equipment, temperature, pressure gauges, and torque measurement equipment. 10/1982 - 10/1984: US Navy Norfolk, Va. Avionics Technician: I volunteered for active duty recall from navy reserves and was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Independence PMEL lab. I supervised assisted and trained seven fellow shipmates on the proper repair and calibration of numerous electronic and mechanical test equipment used to repair the various aircraft and other systems aboard an aircraft carrier. I was also responsible for all equipment and publications that were classified and was in charge of all quality assurance testing. |
