Here's the spring update. For those of you who are interested or whatever, here's a link to an earlier version of this page. For my take on Iraq, read here. (there's an action shot here courtesy of the Long Beach Press Telegram)

On to more pleasant topics. How 'bout those Buckeyes? World Champs!!! And Baseball is now underway! Go Tribe!!! I expect they'll win, oh, 70 games anyway. The defending champs, of course, are the Angels. Here's some pictures of Anaheim Staidum (I refuse to use the corporate name)

    Anaheim Stadium

I rode Amtrak there for a game last August and shot some photos of Union Station too.

I moved to Long Beach in late '02. So far so good--I love the ocean breezes. It's cheaper here than in L.A, another plus. Been to Ohio twice this year--as much as the previous two years combined--and played a couple of shows. Here's the Ted Kane discography, and I also have a couple pages devoted to Ted Kane & the Beardsmiths with the Hawthorne Effectlive in concert back on 1/8/01. The complete recording of this event is now available for purchase, as are Ted Kane II & III

When was the last time you looked at the Cat & Gertie Show?

This site is updated seasonally, and sometimes not even that. If you want to keep closer tabs on Ted Kane be sure to check the two monthly zines I contribute a column to: my own Crapshoot and Rick Brown's Naked Sunfish. I also review CDs for Jazz Review and, as soon as I get my act together, Sponic.

Last, here are some 2001 pix of the Watts Towers
