| It's hot right now! Grab you makeup and follow the directions so that you will look as if you just stepped out of another generation! Difficulty Level: Easy Time Required: 15 MINUTES Here's How: Cleanse face. Apply moisturizer. Stipple foundation. See tip below for how to stipple. Apply brown shadow to your brows and brush to soften color. Use brown pencil to create a prominent arch. Again brush to soften edges. Using black liquid liner, sweep a steady line across the top of your lashes. You might have to practise this a few times. Apply mascara to top lashes only Using a deep rose blusher, sweep color toward the temples. See additional information in the tips section below. Outline lips with a red lip liner and then add a rich red lipstick. Blot and reapply. This should be a matte finish. No shine on forties lips. Step back and look at the finished product. Blend edges if necessary. The colors are bright but at the same time, soft. Tips: To stipple... use a wedged shaped sponge and pick up a little foundation and press/flick the sponge onto your face over and over again. This should give good coverage. No rose blusher on hand? What about rose colored lipstick? Smear a little onto your hand, pick up the color onto a sponge and apply. |
