Pump Your Own Gas

Pull up to the gas pump that has the type of gas you want (be sure your tank is facing it). Turn off your engine. If there’s a lever near the driver’s seat with a gas-pump icon, pull it to open the tank’s door.
Read the machine’s instructions. If you need to pay first, swipe your credit card through the slot on the pump. Then unscrew your car’s gas-tank cap.
Remove the hose from its cradle (if gas types aren’t at separate pumps, you’ll have to pick the gas you want by pushing a button). Then open the fuel line by lifting the level under the hose or by pressing "Start"
