  LIVE - MAYHEM IN KL (Fantasy Scope November Issue)

(28 October 2001)    Mayhem was unleashed in the city of KL as a large monster rampaged across the streets, causing havoc to the city folks. An astounding 15 000 casualties have been reported. Figures are expected to rise as workers are still searching for bodies and clearing up the bloody mess.

    According to a few eyewitness at the scene, a large pink monster with horns appeared out of nowhere and crushed the city, leaving half of the city burning and billowing with smoke. The monster mysteriously dissappears after 15 minutes of mayhem just as army reinforcements have arrived. Investigations are still under way as to what had caused the monster to appear.

    Residents are advised to stay in their homes following today's tragedy.

    According to analysts, the statistics of the     15 000 reported dead show that       

  • 70% was stomped to death
  • 20% was eaten
  • while another 10% was crushed to death by falling obstacles.

Below are some of the interesting highlights triggered by the disaster.

1.  Movie makers are offering millions for the monster to act in   Godzilla 2.

2.  One source said that the monster could be a sign of good tidings and a symbol of luck. Harvest are expected to increase.

3.  Authorities have yet to comment on the issue but remarked that the carnage could see a boost in the tourism industry as tourists are flocking in to see the carnage.

4.  Doctors predicted a decrease in demand for blood following the massacre.

5.  A local fast food outlet sold a new special "Stomp" meat burger for just 50 cents right after the tragedy. Hmm...

6. The gruesome bloody mess caused by the monster have resulted in  major traffic problems because motorists cannot differentiate between green lights and  red lights.

7. Monster action figures are expected to hit the stores later this week.

8. The Union of Coffinmakers expressed outrage at the monster's actions and vows to provide enough coffins to accomodate the victims. Meanwhile prices of coffins are expected to rise following the disaster.
