Biography
The biography of Lee Chaolan. There are many different versions of the Lee story, so here it is in what I believe to be the most accurate form.
Please note that Tekken Tag Tournament does not have a storyline, so here are the events leading up to TTT. Enjoy...
While on a trip to China, Heihachi Mishima came across a young boy in the streets who was being teased for having silver hair. This young boy was only 12 years old and without a family, so Heihachi decided to adopt him for the main porpose of providing a rival for his blood son Kazuya. This boy was called Lee Chaolan.
Heihachi, Kazuya and Lee lived in Japan. Lee was loyal to his adopted father, but Kazuya hated his father greatly, and was awaiting his chance to take over the Mishima Zaibatsu.
Lee was a good son, but unlike his older brother could not master the Mishima style of karate at all - apparently unable to perform the most simple moves! *i find this kinda hard to believe* However, Lee met Marshall Law, and spend weeks training with him in the nearby forests. Lee took Law's speed and style and changed it into his own unique way of fighting; a style that was even quicker and more deadly than Law's.
At a big tournamet before the first King of the Iron Fist, both Lee and Kazuya entered. Lee had to face his old sparring partner Marshall Law. After an amazing battle, Lee beat his old friend. *cool*
However, Kazuya was not so lucky. He had to face the brash American Paul Phoenix. After three grouling rounds, the fight was declared a draw, much to the annoyance of Heihachi Mishima. Heihachi now favoured Lee over his blood son, and revealed that Lee would be his successer! Kazuya was furious and despised his father even more - secretly vowing to take over the Zaibatsu in the upcoming first King of the Iron Fist Tournament, Tekken.
Tekken 1
While Kazuya was entering the tournament to overthrow his father, the Silver-Haired Devil's main reason for entering was simply to defend his honour. During the tournament Kazuya was on a roll, facing many opponents and beating them one by one. Still jealous of his adopted brother, Kazuya requested to face Lee in the final stages. His father agreed. Filled with rage and demonic strength, Kazuya beat his brother. *damn*
In the final round, Kazuya faced his father and owner of the tournament, Heihachi. Kazuya beat his dad and threw him off a cliff. *what a loving family*
With Heihachi beaten, the Mishima Zaibatsu was in the evil Kazuya's hands.
With the world at his feet, Kazuya appointed Lee as his lowly secretary and henchman, and leader of the sub-boss gang consisting of Anna Williams, Bruce Irvine and Ganryu. When Kazuya heared that Heihachi might still be alive, he announced it was time for the second King of the Iron Fist Tornament.
But while plans were underway, Wang Jinfry secretly talked with Lee (is Wang Lee's uncle? Who knows.)
Wang saw the evil inside Kazuya and persuaded Lee to help him bring honour back to the Mishima Empire.
Tekken 2
Heihachi had been preparing for the second tournament. Kazuya thought Lee was entering to stop Heihachi, but infact Lee had conspired with Wang to delay Heihachi, to allow Jun Kazama through to Kazuya. Lee was Heihachi's sub-boss, but unfortunately lost to his adopted father. *damn again*
Heihachi went on to face his own blood son, who he also managed to beat. But the Devil Kazuya escaped from Kazuya's beaten body and tried to possess Jun and her unborn baby. However, Jun's skills were too much for the Devil and she KO'd him! While all this was going on Heihachi tossed Kazuya into into a volcano in an attempt to stop him forever...
After the tournament, Lee was once again Heihachi's deputy. 19 years later he was consumed by the God of Fighting, Ogre, who was gathering souls of strong fighters. Which is why poor Lee wasn't in bloody Tekken 3!
Luckily Jin Kazama and Heihachi released Lee from Ogre, so the Silver-Haired Devil will be back for
the fourth installmant of the Iron Fist Tournament!...
