Episode 43
Rodrigo asks Virginia to try to learn to love him because he adores her, she promises to try. Danilo asks Virginia out and she accepts, later Sagrario convinces her not to go and he becomes furious. Father Chema tells Virginia her duty is to be by Rodrigo's side, adding that Carlos Alberto has no right to love her as a woman. Memito asks Carlos Alberto if he isn't afraid to marry Anabella because her face is very ugly. Juvencio asks Zaira what would Alirio do if he knew Rodrigo is not where he believes. Meliton overhears the conversation and runs to tell Maximiliana about it. Anabella decides they will get married on the 17th. and tells Carlos Alberto she wants Virginia to go with them on their honeymoon, to which he adamantly refuses. Violeta informs her father Virginia loves Carlos Alberto and promises to obtain proof of it. Due to a careless mistake Arnulfo sees Rodrigo in the courtyard of his house and runs to tell Maximiliana. Violeta hears Johnny sing on the radio and becomes very sad thinking he forgot all about her Episode 44 Maximiliana advises Alirio that Rodrigo is alive. Alirio burns the documents which prove he cheated the Junqueras out of their money and says Rodrigo has to die. He then tells Celestino not to fail this time. Aldo is taken to the military academy, but before Tita informs him Maricruz doesn't care for him and is ready to become a nun. Rodrigo knows through Zaira Alirio knows he didn't die, she tells him he has to leave immediately with her but he decides to confront Alirio. Elena asks Carlos Alberto not to marry Anabella because she is going to make him very miserable. Alirio pays a visit to Rodrigo and lets him know there's no proof he robbed him but Junquera informs him he has something that will make him land in jail. Rodrigo writes a letter, he has a gun on top of the desk. A hand wearing a glove is seen behind him, then a shot is heard and Rodrigo falls facedown on the the desk. Sagrario finds him on the following day and is very frightened Episode 45 Mr. Rodrigo is sitting with his face on the desk. he is dead. Everybody believes that he committed suicide, but Inspector Torres is sure that he was murdered and starts questioning Carlos Alberto and Virginia. Arnulfo tells Alirio about the murder or suicide. Violeta suspects that Virginia was the only one interested in getting rid of Mr. Rodrigo. Maximiliana thinks that whoever murdered Mr. Rodrigo did a favor to them. Danilo goes to the Junqueras' mansion to offer Virginia his condolences and help. Juvencio tells Zaira that Rodrigo was murdered and she cries saying that she had always loved him. Inspector Torres has a letter that Mr.Rodrigo did not finish writing and he thinks that it puts someone in a compromising situation. Maximiliana gets ready to go to the Junqueras' mansion. Virginia and Carlos Alberto go to see Aldo to give him the sad news. Raquel assures the inspector that it was Virginia who killed Mr. Rodrigo.
