Episode 3
Virginia meets Danilo. Junior tells Carlos Alberto that he is sure that his father is having an affair with Virginia. Raymundo asks Vanessa to marry him and she despises him. Virginia surprises Carlos Alberto and Anabella kissing each other and she is afraid that they get married soon. Alirio tells Anabella that he will never accept her wedding with Carlos Alberto. Rodrigo notifies his family that he is going in a business trip and that they must obey Virginia while he is away. Alirio tells Maximiliana that he would divorce her if she supports Anabella in her wedding plans. Junior asks his father if he is ruined and he denies it. Carlos Alberto kisses Virginia and she slaps his face. Anabella asks her mother what her Aunt Elena is always looking for. Raquel asks her boyfriend Humberto if he is going to marry her. Raquel confronts Virginia and then asks her siblings to help her to kick Virginia out of the house. Matias, Humberto's father, tells his wife Marcela that he heard that Rodrigo is broke. Virginia hesitates when she is getting married to Rodrigo. 

Episode 4 
The justice of the peace asks Virginia to sign the marriage certificate. Matias tells Marcela that he does not like Raquel for his son Humberto. Virginia and Rodrigo get married. Danilo meets Virginia and asks her to work for him in his company and tells her that she needs a man like him to love her. Carlos Alberto asks Virginia if his father is really broke. Rodrigo decides to go on his trip without saying goodbye to his children. Virginia suffers because she loves Carlos Alberto and he despises her. Memito and Virginia go to the airport with Rodrigo to see him off. Alirio finds out that Rodrigo is broke and tells it to Maximiliana. Virginia tells Sagrario that she is determined to forget Carlos Alberto. Virginia decides to fire some of the servants to save money. Junior kisses Lupe. Maximiliana tells Anabella that if the Junquera family is really bankruptcy, she will not let her marry Carlos Alberto. Lupe tells Virginia that she is afraid because she is in love with Junior. Rodrigo arrives to the hospital in New York. Anabella asks Virginia if she is in love with her boyfriend. 

Episode 5 
Anabella confronts Virginia and tells her that she knows that she is in love with Carlos Alberto. The doctor tells Rodrigo that he can be operated on but with a terrible risk of dying, or live one year without quality. Rodrigo decides to be operated on. Virginia tells Sagrario that they will cook just one meal for everybody instead of giving each one of them what they like. Rodrigo telephones Virginia and says goodbye to her. Matias finds out that Rodrigo is seriously ill. Virginia has to confront all of Rodrigo's children. Virginia gives Carlos Alberto a letter that his father wrote and he gathers his siblings to read it. Humberto tells his mother that if Rodrigo dies Raquel will inherit a lot of money and he will be very glad. Virginia tells Father Chema that Rodrigo is going to die and that she married him. Rodrigo's children read his letter and feel it like a farewell. Virginia surprises Raquel and Humberto kissing each other and he asks him to leave. Maximiliana forbids Anabella to go out with Carlos Alberto and she locks her up in her bedroom. Virginia receives a phone call from the United States telling her that Rodrigo has just died. 

Episode 6 
Virginia is informed that Rodrigo has just died. Matias finds out that Rodrigo died in New York and he tells it to Marcela. Carlos Alberto and Raquel find out that their father is dead. Virginia tells Rodrigo's children that their father was seriously ill and that he didn't want them to know. She also tells them that they are really broke. Elena continues looking for something desperately. Carlos Alberto tells Aldo about their father's death while Virginia tells it to Violeta. Maximiliana is shocked when she finds out that Rodrigo is dead. Sagrario gives the terrible news to Junior while Virginia speaks with Memito. Virginia confronts Junior and tells him that his father died being broke. Junior threatens Virginia with kicking her out of the house. Anabella comforts Carlos Alberto. Danilo is worried about Virginia's future and he decides to ask her to be his wife. Virginia assures Carlos Alberto that he will hate her when he finds out the whole truth
