Information: The only son, he has one sister, of Dr. John Wetherby, who now teaches at Hamburg University. Daniel was schooled at Henley Royal School for Boys, before taking up his place at Columbus.
Has a very healthy allowance from his rich father, but doesn't really get on with his family. Very brash, always on the make, but also has a slightly insecure side and can, when needed, be almost responsible. He is desperately in love with Melody Shaw, but is willing to make do with anyone else if he can't have her.
Second year Columbus College undergraduate studying Material Sciences, Electro-dynamics, and Stochastic Analysis, although he rarely attends lectures, preferring to party and work on his latest scam. He is the Ilea's voluntary Second Assistant Watch Officer but is rarely called to duty.
