Anna has her meeting with Professor Brelan - he thinks he is seeing her to congratulate her on the play, she thinks he is going to give her her degree. When Brelan realises the confusion he insists that he did not ask to see Anna specifically, merely whoever was responsible for the play. But Anna still has a message from him on autosec. Is someone playing a trick on her?

Victoria is still insistent that she will go to Ceres, despite Brelan's attempts to change her mind.
