	EXT.	ARYAN BROTHER'S COMPOUND

Scott, Basso and Pond are talking to Smith.

					LONNIE SMITH
				(VERY UPSET)
No, I don't have one of your Indians!

					SCOTT
We have an eye witness who saw your truck
with two of your men pick up one of the
			elders.

					LONNIE SMITH
I say bullshit to that. I have a lot more
troubles now than one of your stinking
			Tonto's. Your illegal alien's that
came in to pick up that Alien spore
missed some because my people are dying
			left and right.
				(he notices Susan Pond
				looking at him)
I see you brought the head Nez Perce
Squaw from the federal building. Did
she tell you that bullshit story about
the nasty white men killing all the
Tonto's, shit what about all the
thousands of white men those savages
killed. Why don't you ask her how many
white mans scalps her Chief Joseph
and that chicken shit tribe passed
			on to her.

					SCOTT
			Is that true, Susan?

					SUSAN POND
We have some scalps at the museum, but
all we know is that they are over a
hundred years old. We don't know if
they are white mans or Native
			American.

					LONNIE SMITH
				(sarcastic)
Don't know my ass. What she didn't
tell you was that thieving, lazy,
forefathers used to kill each other
for blond and red-head white mans
scalps. They said blonde's were worth
at least ten black. And the red, shit
the red, they would trade their squaw's
			for one.
				(still staring at Susan)
And, why don't you tell them about old
BO Plenty the Nez Perce Indian that
got drunk and raped a white girl!

					BASSO

Look, you white trash, we're not here
to get in a shit throwing contest with
you, we want the Indian or we call the
FBI SWAT team and they will rip this
			place apart. Remember, Native Americans
are protected by the Federal Government,
are you? I would like nothing better
than to put you and your red-neck friends
in a Federal jail house for a few years.
And you know what, when the inmates fill
out your dance card for the night, you
will have a long list of all your favorite
			minorities, Afro-American, Orientals,
Hispanic's, and yes, maybe a few Native,
whoop's in your language, Tonto's but
probably not, they just don't go for
that shit, but like you said, one of
them will probably take your scalp
while you're asleep. So hand over our
Native American, or I place the call!

Smith talks to his men in low tones and two of them leave
and head for a large dumpster.

					LONNIE SMITH
				(clearing his throat)
One of my boys picked on of those
			Tonto's when they caught him
			trying to steal their truck.

In a distance they all view as his men take the Indian out
	of the dumpster.

					BASSO
				(Really pissed)
You white piece of shit, you put him in
that metal box in one-hundred degree
			heat!
(she goes to grab Smith and Scott
				holds her back)
As far as I'm concerned you don't represent
the White Race, you represent the Devil
Race, and when you die, I hope you spend
the rest of eternity with the devil that
			spawned you!

					LONNIE SMITH
				(looking at Scott)
			What is she a Lesbian?

					BASSO
				(coming unglued)
No I'm a trained killer and that's what
I do best, kill pieces of shit like you!
And you know what, I have a license to,
			kill, do you?

Smith's men turn over the Indian to Scott and Basso and he
	passes out in Scott's arms.

Scott, Basso and Pond are talking to the attending doctor for
Johnny Eagle the Indian held by the Aryan Brothers

					DR. CHASE
				(Somber look)
Mr. Eagle is lucky to be alive, another
hour and he would have expired. He will
have to spend a couple of days in here
so we can make sure he recovers from his
dehydration. They also beat him pretty
bad. He had two broken hands, two broken
			ribs and a slight concussion.

					BASSO
				(Stern)
We have filed charges against everyone
in that compound, and we should have
a federal attorney from the Justice
			Department by morning.

					DR. CHASE
Do you know why they did it?

					BASSO
We talked to the witness and she said he
was sitting on the curb trying to help
a dog that was hit by their truck, and
they just came over and took him.

					DR. CHASE
			Was the witness an Indian?

					SCOTT
No, it was a white lady whose husband is
a banker in Lewiston. By the way, do
you know what is happening at the Aryan
Brothers compound, Smith said they have
sick people, with some strange disease?.

					DR. CHASE
Matter of fact I'm now waiting for doctor's
from The Center for Disease Control from
Atlanta, the Chief Surgeon is having them
flown in to identify what this virus is.

EXT.	ARYAN BROTHER'S COMPOUND 6:05 AM

Scott, Basso and Dr. Chase are at the front gate of the
	compound.

					LONNIE SMITH
I'm sorry agents Scott and Basso but it you
and your Bi . . . , friend are not welcome
here, you will have to stay outside of the
			compound.
Out of a mist of ground fog emerges two Military Huey
helicopters landing in the cleared area in front of the
compound. CDC Doctors dressed in bio-suits jump out of the
chopper and rush to the gate. One older man without a
bio-suit approaches Dr. Chase, with his hand for a
	handshake.

				DR. JOHN BEIN
Hi. Dr. Chase good to see you,
			(shaking hands)
		It's been awhile hasn't it!

				DR. CHASE
DR. JOHN BEIN, it's so good to see you!
John I want you to meet FBI Agents, Dr's
		Brian Scott and Barbara Basso.

				BASSO
My pleasure Dr. Bein, I have followed all
your quests all over the world, you are my
		hero!

					DR. BEIN
			Thank you my dear.

					SMITH
Welcome Dr. BEIN, I'm Lonnie Smith,
			the director of this settlement.
You and your people are welcome
but the FBI Agents are not, due
to a prior problem with them.

					DR. CHASE
				(low tones)
John, Mr. Smith the person in charge
			of this organization is allegedly
			responsible for the kidnapping of
a Nez Perce young man. I would
			strongly advise the presence of
			federal agents.

					DR. BEIN
I understand, well I usually travel
with federal troops, I was told the
FBI was here, so I came without them.
It's up to you Mr. Smith, I will not
permit my people to enter the compound
unless we are assisted by the Army
			or FBI Agents, your choice?

					SMITH
I don't want the fucking Army in here.

					DR. BEIN
We're here to help your people, so I need
your help Mr. Smith. I will not tolerate
profanity around women, will you please
refrain from "gutter talk" and speak like a
			civilized man while we're here?

					SMITH
Ok, you have me over a barrel, but we
			will be watching them.

					DR. BEIN
We need a large building to set up our
			equipment.
					SMITH
My security manager will be here in a minute.
			Oh yes here he is.
A young man in his early thirties walks up to the group.

					SMITH
Dick, I want you to accompany the
doctor and stay with them at all
times give them the mess hall so
they can set up all of their stuff.
The young man and the group disappear into the fog
surrounding the entrance to the compound. They all
walk up to the large mess hall and enter.

INT.	ARYAN BROTHERS COMPOUND MESS HALL

					SCOTT
			Thank you Dr. BEIN.

					BASSO
				(looking at Dr. BEIN)
What method do you use in the removal of
			a toxic agent?

					ALVA
Why don't we sit down at this table
			and we'll talk about it.

					DR. BEIN
				(looking at young man)
I will have all of your people
examined to see if any have
been close enough to the Toxic
			Agent to be infected.

					YOUNG MAN
I'll go tell Lonnie, I'll be back,
if you need anything just let me
			know!

					DR. BEIN
			As you wish.

DR. BEIN waits till the young man leaves, then addresses
	SCOTT and BASSO.

					DR. BEIN (Cont.)
The taxonomy of the Filoviridae is in
a state of flux; the family includes
			viruses currently designated Marburg,
Ebola Zaire, Ebola Sudan, and Ebola
Ivory Coast, which are believed to be
endemic to Africa, and Ebola Reston,
			which putatively originates in the
			Philippines. The viruses are known
			particularly for their propensity
to cause fatal hemorrhagic fever of
			humans with person-to-person spread,
			but their pathogenicity varies from
			asymptomatic infection (Ebola Reston)
to epidemics with death rates of 77%
			to 88% (Ebola Zaire).

					BASSO
Have you had any luck finding an
			antibiotic that will kill it?

					DR. BEIN
All of the viruses appear to be
			highly pathogenic for non-human
			primates. Outbreaks of disease
have occurred in Europe and North
			America in monkeys imported from
			Africa and the Philippines,
			sometimes with spread of infection
to humans. Contact with the tissues
of dead non-human primates was a
			source of infection for humans
on at least two occasions in Africa.
			Nevertheless, the lethality of the
			viruses for non-human primates
			suggests that, like humans, non-human
			primates are incidental victims
of infection and are not true
			reservoir hosts. The source of
			filo-viruses in nature remains unknown,
but in some instances, bats roosted
in buildings or a cave visited or
			frequented by people who subsequently
were found to have primary cases of
infection in outbreaks of disease in
Africa; one patient was bitten or stung
by what is presumed to have been an
arthropod 7 days before coming down
			with Marburg disease. Informal speculation
has included the suggestion that filo-
viruses may be plant viruses, perhaps
			even asymptomatic infection (Ebola Reston)
			involving transmission by arthropod vectors.

					BASSO
So what your saying, is that you need to
find the host so you can develop a serum?

					DR. BEIN
Exactly, the search for the source of
the viruses in nature has been hampered
by the erratic recognition of outbreaks
of filo-virus infection in widely separated
			geographic locations at unpredictable
			intervals therefore, comparatively few
			field investigations have been reported.
After the 1995 epidemic of Ebola fever
in Kikwit, Zaire, teams of scientists
coordinated by the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention, Atlanta, and the
			U.S. Army Medical Research Institute
			of Infectious Diseases, Fort Detrick,
			collected large numbers of vertebrate
			and arthropod specimens during June,
			July, and August, 1995.Because evidence
indicated that the outbreak had actually
started in January 1995, it was possible
that the virus was no longer circulating
in its natural hosts in the vicinity of
Kikwit by the time ecological studies were
undertaken. To allow for the possibility
			that the filo-viruses manifest seasonal
activity in their natural hosts, a team
from the National Institute for Virology
in South Africa visited Kikwit in January
1996, to trap wild vertebrates and
arthropods in the sites investigated by
the other teams in mid-1995. Testing of
the field material is a lengthy process,
and no filo-viruses have been detected so
far. We decided to narrow the search by
			performing pathogenicity studies with
Ebola virus in representatives of different
classes and orders of living things,
			including vertebrates, invertebrates,
and even plants. The underlying assumptions
were that if a group of species is either
refractory or hyper-susceptible to the virus,
members of the taxon are unlikely reservoir
hosts of the virus, whereas members of taxa
capable of circulating virus for prolonged
periods without becoming ill are suspected
			reservoirs.

					BASSO
Have you tried new emerging anti-biotics?

					DR. BEIN
In vitro testing of haemolyticum isolated
from human infections shows susceptibility to
			erythromycin, gentamicin, clindamycin, and
			ephalosporins. Reports of treatment failure
with penicillin in spite of low minimum
			inhibitory concentrations have been attributed
to tolerance and to failure to penetrate the
			intracellular location of the pathogen.
Erythromycin has been proposed as the drug
			of choice, with parenteral antimicrobial
drugs used for serious infections. The
			general similarity of the susceptibility
pattern of haemolyticum to more commonly
			encountered pharyngeal pathogens, including
			pyogenes, makes culture and accurate
diagnosis essential if cases are to be
recognized for their true etiology. Its
			participation in polymicrobic infections
			requires that haemolyticum be specifically
sought in appropriate specimens to obtain
accurate diagnosis and to allow epidemiologic
			analysis.

					SCOTT
Well I was only able to follow part of what
you were saying, because I'm not a medical
doctor. But what I was able to glean is
that the Aryan compound is out of luck.

					DR. BEIN
Before we came here I looked at one of the
infected ones at the hospital. It's a form
of hemorrhagic fever. We had a village in
Zaire where one native ate a monkey who
was infected and within a week, everyone
was dead, and I mean everyone.

					SCOTT
You see we're not here to cure them, were
here to contain them, it's too late.

					BASSO
			Oh my god.

					SCOTT
What ever you do don't tell Smith what
you are really here for or he will shoot
			us all!

					SMITH
			Some one mention my name?
(smith is seen walking in the door)

					BEIN
You better sit down. This report in my
hand is the hospital report. And I'm
afraid we're not going to be able to
			save your people

					SMITH
It was those goddamn aliens that did
this to us! And was the FBI who brought
them in here! If they are all shit canned
agents Scott and Basso, you will never
			leave the compound.

					DR. BEIN
			What aliens?

					BASSO
We think it was a spore or virus found
on a planet that exploded near the outer
edge of this galaxy and carried for
millions of years on the asteroid that
			fell into the compound.

					SMITH
Yeah it was those damn aliens?

					DR. BEIN
			I don't understand?

					SMITH
			You know, UFO's!

					SCOTT
We were visited by members of an
alien species who came here to
clean it up. They said they were
able to get all of it but I guess
			they must have missed some.

					DR. BEIN
You have to be kidding me?

					BASSO
			They were here.

					SMITH
I didn't want them aliens here but
the FBI convinced me that I should
or the toxic spore will kill
everyone! So what could I do, and
look now, we'll all die Anyway!

								CUT TO:

EXT.	F.B.I. HEADQUARTERS WASHINGTON D.C. DAY

INT.	F.B.I. SPECIAL UNIT - OFFICE

Agent's SCOTT and BASSO are reviewing a report from
the Agent in Charge of the BOISE IDAHO office,
covering the deaths of over four-hundred people
living in the Aryan Brothers Compound in
	Hayden Lake, IDAHO.

					SCOTT
				(studying the report)
Looks like the curse of CHIEF JOSEPH
			over the Nez Perce massacre.
				(hands the report to Basso)
The white folks in those days,
weren't very nice to the Indians.
and now it's pay back time!

					BASSO
Talk about a vivid imagination, one has
nothing to do with the other?

					SCOTT
Dr. Bein called me last night to notify
us that the entire compound has been
incinerated, to completely burn out the
virus spore or whatever that was.
He also wanted us to know that there
			were no survivors.

					BASSO
I think it's Gods pay pack for all
			those beautiful Native Americans
			that were destroyed by their
			forefathers. Remember, the Lord
			say'th vengeance is mine!

					SCOTT
			I don't know, sometimes it's hard
to hate the skinheads for doing what
they do, because I think it was the
way they were raised. If a child is
raised with hate and prejudice, then
that's they way they will grow up.

					BASSO
				(very sad)
So what do you suppose happened.
I think the Aliens missed part
			of the spore.

					SCOTT
			The legend states three years
			before the Millennium, white
			people will start to disappear
in the nation of the Nez Perce
and you know what, they did, over
			four hundred of them.

					BASSO
				(Somber)
			Maybe you have something Brian,
how did that curse go, let's see,
The legend says "The white man
will loose many men, women and
			children until the total equals
what the Nez Perce nation lost
			during the Massacre."

					SCOTT
I don't think this is the end of it!

					BASSO
			You know, I don't either!
