EXT. CAIRO EGYPT - VALLEY OF THE KINGS 0700 HRS
INT. ROYAL BURIAL ROOM - SONS OF RAMSES II
SIR GRAHAM LONDON of Luxor University has found what
appears to be a piece of Papyrus in a hidden compartment
when he pulls out a loose brick. Sir Graham is a man in
his late forties who is the Curator Emeritus at the
Luxor University Studies of Egyptology. Dr. URI SHAPANI
an Egyptian his assistant, a man in his early thirties.
They both examine the fine hieroglyphs and agree on their findings.
SHAPANI
(excited)
I think it's a very old
piece of papyrus.
LONDON
(concerned)
Unless we have it radio carbon
dated, it's just papyrus. It
says here if we look under the
Sarcophagus we'll find the Egyptian
book of the dead.
London hurries over to the Coffin like Sarcophagus and shines
his light underneath. He sees what appears to be a crudely
bound book of papyrus. He reaches under and takes it out.
SHAPANI
Sir Graham, it looks authentic
in every way. Let me see it!
LONDON
I'll set it down on the rock
table and we can both look
at it.
Shapani moves to the side and takes out his reading glass
holding it very close to the face of the book.
SHAPANI
It's a scribe I'm familiar with!
LONDON
Well,,..... decipher it man!
SHAPANI
It says, the kings who have gone to
be with OSIRIS will come to life again
if the Tigress Eucalyptus leaves are
brewed for fifty breaths and given to
one of Ramses II sons.
As they're looking through the book of the dead, they
discover a small compartment in the back side of the
book. They carefully open it and see three leaves
perfectly preserved.
LONDON
What kind of leaves are those?
Shapani picks them up, smells them then touches his
tongue to the tip of one.
SHAPANI
(frightened)
This Sir Graham, is Tigress
Eucalyptus leaves. They're
very rare!
LONDON
What is the dosage?
Shapani continues to read and starts talking to himself.
SHAPANI
One leaf is recommended, and we
need a full moon!
LONDON
Why, does he turn into a wolf?
Wait, tonight is a full moon!
SHAPANI
Sir, we're not permitted to
desecrate the antiquities!
As London looks at Ramses laying in the Sarcophagus.
LONDON
This is a once in a lifetime
opportunity! I think we owe
it to science!
SHAPANI
Sir, If I were the director
of antiquities I would permit
it.
London lays his hand on the lips of the bandaged wrapped
remains and he smiles and looks at Shapani.
LONDON
Look Shapani, I'm on the board
of governors and I guarantee
you, I'll vote you in as the
next director of antiquities.
SHAPANI
If I turn and look the other way?
LONDON
No, I need your help.
Shapani holds the book carefully and removes the leaves.
He reaches in has bag for his silver tea warmer. Then
a small candle is placed on the rock table and lit. They
place one small leaf in the silver cup and light the
candle. The cooking of the leaf begins. (A beat).
SHAPANI
Sir, the brew is ready.
LONDON
OK, stand back. Hand me your spoon.
London places the spoon in the liquid and pauses.
SHAPANI
Sir, be vary careful, don't drop
any of the liquid, it has to be
the liquid of one leaf, exactly!
As London looks at Ramses shaking and watching, he now
carefully places the edge of the spoon in Ramses lips.
LONDON
This is a long shot, but I'm
willing to take it in the name
of science.
SHAPANI
Careful, sir Graham, careful.
The liquid disappears in the partially open mouth of Ramses.
London dips the spoon a second time in the liquid. He
repeats the process again. He continues until it's all
gone.
LONDON
(anxiously)
Now we wait, my friend!
The full moon shines into the room and casts Erie shadows
on the pair who've fallen asleep waiting for the awakening
of Ramses. The moon shines on Ramses face and if we look
closely you can begin to see movement in the lips. Ramses
raises one of his hands about six inches then it quickly
drops striking the side of the Sarcophagus. This awakens
Shapani with a start. He sees that Ramses is starting to
stir.
SHAPANI
(excited)
Sir Graham, Sir Graham
Ramses is awakening!
London opens his eyes and shows alarm when he hears Shapani
saying Ramses is coming to life.
LONDON
(exhilarated)
We did it, we did it!
Ramses hand comes out of the Sarcophagus and grabs London
by the throat and chokes him to death.
CUT TO:
EXT. FBI HEADQUARTERS WASHINGTON D.C. DAY-0900 HR'S
INT. FBI SPECIAL UNIT - OFFICE
Agent's BRIAN SCOTT and BARBIE BASSO are reviewing a report
from the Agent in Charge of the overseas liaison office.
Scott is holding several eight by ten glossy's of what
appears to be an Egyptian mummy, Ramses II laying in it's
Sarcophagus with the dead body of Dr. Graham London laying
next to it.
BRIAN SCOTT PHD.
An esteem Egyptoligist of the highest order has been with the FBI
for over ten years and is called in on special cases where this
background is necessary. He is also a specialist in Applied
Criminal Psychology and has published papers on this subject.
He has two years in pre-med and is qualified for Clinical forensic
Specialties.
BARBIE BASSO MD.
A Doctor of Forensic Medicine and is rated one of the best in this
field. She has been with the FBI for over six years and is called in
on special cases where this background is required. A specialist
in Applied Criminal Psychology and Criminal Behavior. She
has been Scott's partner for the last three years.
SCOTT
(studying the picture)
Looks like an open and shut case.
(hands the picture to Basso)
Look here.
BASSO
The reports says the finger prints
on the mummy match the prints on
the throat of sir Graham.
SCOTT
Yeah right, the mummy woke up for a
few minutes after sleeping several
thousand years and the first thing
it had on it's mind was to choke
Sir Graham.
BASSO
Is it possible his assistant Dr.
Shapani choked him with the Mummy's
hand?
SCOTT
The report says Dr. Shapani was found
on the floor of the pyramid suffering
from extreme shock and is now currently
hospitalized with a deep coma.
BASSO
(quite moved)
Oh really.
SCOTT
The curator of the Luxor University
stated that that his staff found
a roughly bound book made of papyrus
in the chamber and upon examination
it had the formula for raising the dead!
BASSO
It says here the book of the dead
also expressly states any attempt
of someone to raise the dead will
be cursed by death. The only one
that can do this is a high priest
and only a high priest!
SCOTT
What is this about Eucalyptus leaves?
BASSO
The Egyptians had a special tree with
leaves they claimed would raise the
dead.
SCOTT
The Egyptian government want's us
to fly to Luxor and provide any
metaphysical support we can lend.
The expert is still in the Hospital.
We leave for Egypt first thing in the
morning.
BASSO
I can't wait to see what Ramses looks
like using his walker!
SCOTT
Yeah, right!
BASSO
Come on Scott, loosen up!
CUT TO:
EXT. CAIRO EGYPT - UNIVERSITY DAY-0900 HR'S
INT. CAIRO UNIVERSITY OF EGYPTIAN ANTIQUITIES
Scott and Basso are in conference with Dr. Kabni Baka
discussing the horrible death of his famous associate.
BAKA
Agents Scott and Basso, I'm so
happy you're here. We believe the
curse is now on the University.
The desecration was made by one
of us, so now everyone has to
pay, probably with their life!
BASSO
Why do you believe that?
BAKA
Because many strange things
have been happening to our
people since the desecration.
SCOTT
Why do you keep saying,
desecration?
BAKA
Oh, I thought you knew.
BASSO
About what?
BAKA
"The Egyptian Book of the Dead"
has been authenticated by radio
carbon dating and it was created
at the time the great Pharaoh
Ramses II was a ruler.
SCOTT
So what, I still don't see the
problem?
BAKA
The problem my dear friends is
that Dr. London tried to wake
one of Ramses sons from the
dead. That's what killed him
and now it's placed a curse
on all of us.
The phone rings and he picks up the receiver.
BAKA (Sub titles)
(SPEAKING IN EGYPTIAN)
Yes, this is Dr. BAKA. (pause)
Oh my, ......yes I understand.
Good-bye.
(hangs up the receiver)
SCOTT
Is there a problem?
BAKA
That was Dr. Sariff from the Hospital.
(emotional)
Dr. Shapani is gone. He hung himself
in his hospital room.
BASSO
I thought he was in a comma?
BAKA
The Dr. said he awoke last night
and started to scream! The nurse
left him to get help and call
the doctor. When they returned
he'd hung himself.
SCOTT
Can we have someone take us to
the site of the murder?
BAKA
I will take you myself.
But, have you no fear?
BASSO
We're both fearless, right
Scott?
CUT TO:
EXT. VALLEY OF THE KINGS - EGYPT 0100 HR.
INT. ROYAL BURIAL ROOM - RAMSES II SONS
Scott and Basso follow Dr. Baka into the burial vault
appearing to be a little uneasy as they look at the remains
of Ramses II.
SCOTT
I thought they'd found Ramses
back in the thirties, and had
him tucked away in some theft
proof safe?
BAKA
Yes, that's true, but Ramses II
had fifty-two sons. All of his
sons were equally as rich as
their father.
They look closely at the remains of Ramses laying in the
Sarcophagus and Basso, places a surgical glove on and
touches it's hand.
BASSO
When the Egyptians buried
their Pharaohs the palace
priests removed the brain
and all the internal organs.
So I hardly think Ramses
could have choked Dr. London.
The lights start to blink in the burial vault and they all
look at each other.
BAKA
We don't have the best electricians
in the world. Were down in the
pyramid about four hundred feet.
But not to worry, I have a flashlight.
Dr. Baka is carrying a bag and he removes a very old
loosely bound book of papyrus.
BAKA (cont.)
This is the Egyptian book of
the Dead. The book that was
responsible for the death
of my good friend DR. London.
BASSO
Has anyone entered this area
since the death of Dr. London?
BAKA
No one. Why?
BASSO
The powder type dirt on the
floor of the room.
(pointing to the floor))
Looks like something was dragged.
BAKA
Dragged.
SCOTT
It looks like someone was dragging
their right foot.
(reaching down)
That's strange. A piece of wrappings
is laying here, about five feet
from the Sarcophagus.
BAKA
Grave robbers?
SCOTT
No, I don't think so!
(examining the wrapping)
There's a piece of very old
flesh hanging on the wrapping.
BAKA
Are you saying that one of Ramses
sons is alive and walking around
the vault at night?
All the lights go off and it becomes very quite. Baka takes
out his pen light and the light produced is about the
same as a small candle. The flickering of the light is
throwing shadows on the face of Ramses. The light gets
weaker and goes out. The room is now in total blackness.
BASSO
(frightened)
Scott! .....don't leave me!
Scott takes out his small penlight flashlight and
flashes it around the room. He aims the beam down
inside the corridor and is alarmed by the awesome
statue of Osiris.
BASSO
(scared)
Oh my god what is that!
SCOTT
That's a statue of their God
Osiris, he was god of the dead.
BAKA
We need to get out of here
before dark. Lets see if
we can find a way out with
your light, Agent Scott.
BASSO
What is that scrapping noise?
SCOTT
It sounds like someone dragging
something!
BASSO
Lights would be nice!
The lights go on and they are startled when they discover
Ramses II is gone!
BAKA
(alarmed)
I must call the police and
report this theft!
SCOTT
(whispering to Basso)
He must have been taken out through
a secret door!
BASSO
I want to go home!

EXT. FBI HEADQUARTERS WASHINGTON D.C. DAY
INT. FBI SPECIAL UNIT - OFFICE
Agent's SCOTT and BASSO are reviewing a report from
the Agent in Charge of the San Francisco California
office. Scott is holding a eight by ten glossy of a majestic
looking mountain.
SCOTT
(studying the picture)
MT. SHASTA looks like MT. FUJI
in Japan.
(hands the picture to Basso)
Looks like an extinct volcano.
BASSO
Mt. Shasta is an extinct volcano.
SCOTT
Have you ever heard of the
ROSICRUCIAN'S?
BASSO
It's some kind of religious sect
out of SAN JOSE California.
SCOTT
We're flying out to California
tomorrow. Seems the people in Mt.
Shasta Village are claiming they
have seen Ramses II on more than
one occasion. And they say the
Rosicrucian's know why he is
appearing.
BASSO
Oh yes, the Rosicrucian's and the
Lemurians?
SCOTT
Oh come on give me a break?

east coast, PACIFICA off the coast

Scott and Basso are reading the reports furnished by sheriff
LIAM MCGRATH, a middle age man in his early fifty's.
BASSO
No Ramses II but, four children are
reported missing and no trace of
any kind?
MCGRATH
Not a thing, they just ... disappeared into thin air.
Two boy's and two girls,
all were thirteen.
SCOTT
This religious sect in San
Jose claim they know why
the four children have
disappeared.
MCGRATH
Ever since they published
a book about our mountain

SCOTT
Have you checked to see if
the children were taken by
divorced parent's not having
custody?
MCGRATH
All the kids come from loving
homes and the parents are all
married and living together.
SCOTT
Did there seem to be a common
denominator in all the families?
MCGRATH
Each of the four families had
four children. Each of the four
families were from a different
ethnic origin.
SCOTT
Have your men searched the
mountain?
MCGRATH
I have one of the best search
and rescue teams in the world,
and they found no trace of them.
I've made copies of all the
reports for you two.
BASSO
Do you have a guide that can
describe the parts of the
mountain that could possibly
hide the children?
MCGRATH
Your not buying into that
garbage that the Lemurian's
have them are you?
SCOTT
We have to cover every possible
lead.

MCGRATH
Yes, Mt. Shasta Inn is one of the
best in the area.
BASSO

INT. MRS. COOK'S LIVING ROOM
Mrs. Cook an elderly women in her seventies has provided
Scott and Basso with a hot cup of tea and some home
made cookies.
COOK
So what can I do for the FBI today?
SCOTT
Sheriff McGrath said you were
a Psychic.
COOK
I've been a Psychic for the
last three years, I had a
terrible auto accident and
I experienced a "walk-in".
BASSO
Like you rejected your body,

COOK

Scott and Basso are in conference with SEAN MARTEN,
a middle age man in excellent condition. They have
topographical maps of Shasta Mountain and Sean is
running his open hand on one section.
MARTIN
Most of Shasta is accessible
except for a few areas that
are inaccessible.
BASSO
Do you believe in the legend
of the Lemurians?
MARTIN
No, if we had Lemurians up
there on the mountain, I
would have seen one by now.
I think we have foul play
here.
BASSO
As in ...... a conspiracy?
MARTIN
I think it's a publicity stunt
to get tourists and sight seers
coming in here by the droves.
SCOTT
Who would benefit from something
like that, if it were true?
MARTIN

BASSO

EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN DAY
INT. MT. SHASTA CRYSTAL ROOM
Scott, Basso and Martin have entered what appears to
be a small observatory located at the base of the mountain.
MARTIN
The local residents come here in
the summer evenings and look to the
north-west. They claim they can see
crystals on the mountainside. I've
never seen them. I think what there
seeing is Northern Lights bouncing
off the snow on the mountain.
BASSO
Crystals like the POWER CRYSTALS
that the ATLATIANS and LEMURIANS
had.
MARTIN
Search me? Look if your so all
fire interested in the Lemurians
I can take you to OLGA, who claims
she sees them all the time, but
you have to promise me that you
wont tell the Sheriff or he'll
put me and Olga in Jail or the
loony bin.
SCOTT
Olga?
MARTIN
OLGA ZUCCA the Serbian lady
who lives by herself near
BALKAN GROVE.
BASSO
How far is Balkan Grove from
here?
MARTIN
Two miles, but it's an easy climb.

INT. OLGA ZUCCA'S CHALET
Martin has introduced Scott and Basso to Olga Zucca
a woman in her late forties, very Slavic but very attractive.
They all sit down and have some hot tea.
ZUCCA
(heavy Slavic accent)
Yes, I have seen the Lemurians
many times. They're very nice
people. A young man looking like
a Greek God hurt his arm once
and I bandaged it for him. Why
have they done something wrong?
BASSO
When was the last time you saw
one?
ZUCCA
Today?
Scott is looking at Basso, then back to Olga.
SCOTT
You, say today?
ZUCCA
I don't understand what the
problem is. They trust me
and they only come by when
I'm by myself.
SCOTT
What do they do when they
visit you.
ZUCCA
We trade. I trade them Beluga
caviar and Borscht for Crystals.
SCOTT
May I see one of the Crystals
Mrs. Zucca?
Zucca gets up and walks in her bedroom and returns
with a small bag. She opens the bag and displays
the Crystals on the coffee table. The brilliance
and beauty is staggering.
BASSO
(raving)
Oh Olga, they're the most
beautiful crystals I've
ever seen. May I hold one?
ZUCCA
If course, you can hold all
of them but beware, you may
get strange visions. But
the visions are not harmful.
BASSO
(picking up one of
the crystals)
Oh, my god....I see what
you mean. I just saw my
mothers face, and she
was talking to me, but
I couldn't understand
what she was saying.
SCOTT
May I try one Olga?
ZUCCA
Yes of course.
There is a knock on the door. Olga gets up and walks
to the front door, she looks around and whispers to
her guests.
ZUCCA
It's one of them, please
go in my bedroom for a few
minutes and please close
the door.
FADE IN:
EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN DAY
INT. OLGA ZUCCA'S CHALET
Martin, Scott and Basso are waiting in Olga Zucca's bedroom.
Olga is talking to a Lemurian but the conversation can barely
be heard through the door.
ZUCCA
Yes, I will do it for you.
They hear the door close and in a few minutes Olga
opens the bedroom door.
BASSO
What did he want?
ZUCCA
How did you know it was a he?
BASSO
Wild guess.
ZUCCA
They want me to purchase a
few things for them.
SCOTT
What do they want you to buy?
ZUCCA
Medical supplies.
SCOTT
Do they have a problem?
Did you ask them about
the kids?
ZUCCA
Of course I did, and he said
they would never do anything
like that. They love kids.
But he did say the children
were taken by a religious sect.
BASSO
Did he say what their name is?
ZUCCA
Yes, they were taken by followers
of RAMSES II.
BASSO
Ramses the second? Are they
located here in Mt. Shasta?
ZUCCA
They're located on the North-West
Portal.
MARTIN
I know where that is. It's a
four hour climb from here.
It's too late today, but we
can do it tomorrow.
SCOTT
Miss Zucca, would you be interested
in selling some of your crystals?
ZUCCA
No, I'm sorry, they're not for
sale, but I will loan you one
if you promise to return it
before you leave Mt. Shasta.
BASSO
We will give you a receipt.
SCOTT
Thanks for all your help,
we'll return the Crystal
before we leave.

EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN NIGHT
INT. MT. SHASTA INN
Scott and Basso are in their suite and are sitting
around a small round table.
SCOTT
Tell me about Ramses II.
BASSO
Ramses II ascended Egypt's
throne in 1279 BC
SCOTT
I believe I read something
about Ramses II having to
do with a Sphinx.
BASSO
A Sphinx was created in about
2500 BC for Pharaoh Kahfre
(Chepren), who raised the second
Giza Pyramid. When his workman
quarried a U-shaped pit to obtain
blocks for that Pyramid and nearby
temples, they left a core to sculpture into a Sphinx, "The
living image of the sun god".
SCOTT
(smiling)
Sounds ominous.
BASSO
(serious)
Do you want to hear the rest

SCOTT
I'm sorry, go ahead.

BASSO
No, I'm fine. Well anyway
Khafre never finished and
later Giza was largely
abandoned. About 1400 BC, Thutmose the Fourth, son of Amenhotep the second, stopped
his hunting party by the huge
head rising from the sand. While he napped under its chin,
the Sphinx appeared in a dream
as both the sun god and the god
of kingship, Hor-em-akhet. The
sphinx prophesied that Thutmose
would be made king and free the
god from the sand.
SCOTT
How many gods did they have?
BASSO
I don't know, they had a god
for just about everything.
When Thurmose became Pharaoh,
he inscribed his dream on a
tall granite stelae. It became
the centerpiece of an open-
air shrine below the statue.
More than a hundred years later
Ramses II placed two of his own
stelae on the sidewalls of the
shrine and added his name to
the statue of Amenhotep II.
SCOTT
How long did Ramses II live?
BASSO
Over 90 years, why?
SCOTT
What makes him so special to
the present day followers?
BASSO
The coffin containing
Ramses II bears the Crook
and Flail of Osiris, god
of the afterlife.
SCOTT
Osiris, now were getting
somewhere.
BASSO
Ramses promised anyone following
him would have riches beyond his
dreams and anyone going against
him would be taken care of by
Osiris. Recently they have found
writings that indicate Ramses II
will return in the year 2,000!
SCOTT
So the Ramses II followers may
have the Ramses II son we lost
back in Luxor last month.
BASSO
Ramses II believed in human
sacrifice. To keep his image
strong, he would gather children
from the Nubian, Libyan and
Syrian families and sacrifice
them to the gods.
SCOTT
Don't we have a similarity in

SCOTT
It's hard to say what they're
capable of doing. This move
may just be symbolic to further
their ideals or get them free
publicity. Who knows?
BASSO
I think the quicker we move on
this the better. They could
already be dead.
CUT TO:
EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN DAY
EXT. NORTH WEST PORTAL - RAMSES II VILLAGE
Martin, Basso and Scott arrive at the hillside
village to see a barbed wire fortress.
SCOTT
Good grief, are they trying
keep something from getting
out or going in?
An armed guard greets them at the gate to the compound.
GUARD
What do you want, this is
private property?
SCOTT
(Scott shows his badge)
May I speak to the person in
charge of this village.
GUARD
FBI yes, just a minute.
He goes into the gate house and makes a phone call.
GUARD
Wait here, someone will be
here to see you in a minute.
MARTIN
(whispering)
Looks like a prison to me.
BASSO
(whispering)
Did you see the Ramses II
patch on the guards uniform.
SCOTT
How about the flail and crook
silver piece on his lapel.
BASSO
I think were in the right camp!
A young lady walks up to the gate and motions them to
follow her.
CUT TO:
EXT. RAMSES II VILLAGE PYRAMID
INT. INSIDE OF SMALL PYRAMID
Martin, Basso and Scott are sitting in a waiting room
inside the Pyramid. The entire inside of the room has
pictures of Egyptian gods and hieroglyphs. A man in his
late forties enters the room. His hair is cut in the
manner of the pharaohs sons, shaved and a single
braided pony tail on the right side. He's wearing
what appears to be Egyptian clothes and sandals.
AMUN
I'm Amun, the High Priest in
charge of this settlement.
How can I help you?
SCOTT
I'm agent Scott, this is agent
Basso and this is our guide
Mr. Martin. We're looking for
Shasta Village children that
are missing. Do you know
anything about it?
AMUN
We have our own families and as
you can see we keep to ourselves.
We're peace loving people and the
fence is to keep thieves out.
MARTIN
Who's been stealing from you?
AMUN
Some of the teen age children
like to come up here over the
weekend and harass us, so we
now have a fence and armed guard.
SCOTT
Why didn't you report it to
the Sheriff?
AMUN
We don't leave the compound
for any reason.
BASSO
Will you show us around the
compound?
AMUN
What is there here that you could
possibly want to see?
SCOTT
You can do it now or we'll come
back with a court order.
AMUN
My people don't take to strangers
and they're always in prayer, so
for me to show you around, you'll
disturb them and you could also
upset some of the gods that live
here.
MARTIN
Gods? Oh please, do you expect us
to believe that.
AMUN
Very well, I'll show you around
but under now circumstances will
I let you disturb people in worship.
As you know, you'll prevent us
from exercising our civil rights!
BASSO
We'll only observe, I promise
you we'll not disturb anyone.
AMUN
(pointing to a adjacent room)
Very well, I'll send you a
guide. Please wait in our
hospitality room and drink
and eat until your guide
arrives.
SCOTT
Thank you.
CUT TO:
EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN NIGHT
INT. MT. SHASTA INN
Scott and Basso are in their suite having a snack.
Basso is having a bowl of cereal and Scott is
eating a bagel.
SCOTT
I've a feeling they're hiding
the kids inside the compound.
BASSO
Let's get a search warrant
and go in and have a better
look.
SCOTT
(crystal in hand)
Let's see if I get any visions
of where the children are?
Scott holds the crystal and closes his eyes, but he
sees nothing. He passes it to Basso, shaking his head..
BASSO
If you can't get anything, don't
expect me to work a miracle.
Basso closes her eyes and grasps the crystal tight
in her hands.
BASSO
I keep getting flashes, but I can't
seem to make out what it is.
SCOTT
Concentrate on the Ramses
compound.
BASSO
There, I'm getting something.
Yes, there's a basement in
the dinning hall and I see
four small children being
held there. That's it, it's
gone.
CUT TO:
EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN DAY
EXT. NORTH WEST PORTAL - RAMSES II VILLAGE
Martin, Basso and Scott arrive at the hillside
village and are talking to the guard.
SCOTT
Will you please call Amun
and tell him FBI agents
Scott and Basso are here.
The guard picks up the phone and calls.
GUARD
You may go to the Pyramid, he
is waiting for you there.
Martin, Scott and Basso go to the Pyramid and wait
outside. Amun appears when the front door opens.
AMUN
Agents Scott and Basso, and
yes Mr. Martin, what can I do
for you?
SCOTT
(removing a search warrant
from under his jacket)
We have a warrant and we want to
search the dinning room.
AMUN
What do you hope to find there?
SCOTT
Some missing children.
AMUN
This is highly irregular, but
if you insist, follow me.
MARTIN
You don't need me, why don't
you let Agent Basso wait
here, to watch your back.
SCOTT
Good Idea.
CUT TO:
EXT. RAMSES II VILLAGE
INT. INSIDE OF DINNING ROOM
Scott and Amun have entered the dinning room and
he walks briskly around the room trying to find the
opening to the basement.
SCOTT
Where is the basement door?
AMUN
What basement, this building has
no basement. The water table is
about six feet below the surface
so it's impossible to build a
basement here.
Scott checks every possible part of the room for a
trap door, but nothing. Basso walks in the door and
stands next to Scott.
BASSO
Just wanted to see if you were
all right. Find anything?
SCOTT
Nothing, absolutely nothing!
BASSO
This place looks nothing like
what I saw in the vision.
SCOTT
Do you have more than one
dinning room here in this
compound?
AMUN
No Agent Scott, we only have
one. I have to go back to my
prayer meeting, feel free to
search the whole compound if
necessary. Well good-bye, nice
seeing you again.
Amun walks out the dinning room door.
CUT TO:
EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN NIGHT
INT. MT. SHASTA INN DINNING ROOM
Scott and Basso are having dinner and Scott is
scribbling in his note book.
SCOTT
Well what now?
BASSO
I think we need to see Olga
and give her back the crystal.
SCOTT
It's a good thing we didn't
buy the worthless crystal.
BASSO
We used it wrong.
SCOTT
Excuse me, did you say used
it wrong?
BASSO
When I read the book about
the Lemurians, it said they
use the crystals to tell the
future, not the present. We
need to see Zucca and find
out what the time frame is.
SCOTT
You mean, like twenty-four
or forty-eight hours in the
future, or what ever it is.
Scott senses someone is standing next to him and Basso
looks up and sees Olga Zucca standing next to their table.
ZUCCA
I was in town so I thought
about picking up my crystal
so you two wouldn't have to
hike up to my house. may I
sit down?
CUT TO:
EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN NIGHT
INT. MT. SHASTA INN DINNING ROOM
Scott and Basso are having dinner with Olga Zucca.
SCOTT
Olga, were so happy you came by.
BASSO
I think we need to get more
information on the crystal.
SCOTT
Basso saw a vision of where
the missing kids are being
held, but we don't know if
it's now or tomorrow or a week
from now.
BASSO
I think we used it wrong.
ZUCCA
Each crystal is a twenty-four
hour future window.
BASSO
So last night when I saw the
children in a vision, it's
actually tonight, right?
ZUCCA
Exactly, let me use it and see
what I get.
BASSO
Have you been to the Ramses II
compound? Why don't we go up to
our suite.
CUT TO:
EXT. MT. SHASTA MOUNTAIN NIGHT
INT. MT. SHASTA INN HOTEL ROOM
Olga Zucca is holding the crystal and Scott and
Basso are looking on.
ZUCCA
(sitting on the bed)
I see four children sitting on
a concrete floor, in what looks
like a basement or a tower.
BASSO
That's the same vision I got Olga.
But why did you say tower?
ZUCCA
The high concrete walls with the
small bared windows high above.
It looks like the Ramses II
sun temple tower.
SCOTT
That's it, we thought it was a
basement.
ZUCCA
When the Ramses II people first
completed the compound their
high priest Amun gave me a cooks
tour of the place to see if I
wanted to join, he kind of has
a thing for me. When he took me
to the tower, I said, what's
this for? He said it was their
jail for dissidents. There is
no heat in that room, so they
keep the children in the tower
during the day when it's warm,
and at night they bring them
into the compound.
BASSO
I think your right Olga.
SCOTT
Now let's go find that Judge!
