A warning-those on the left side of the car towards the back will get wet. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror-Scenes right out of the Twilight Zone take you on a journey to the elevator shaft from hell. You feel like you're really falling 13 stories in a runaway elevator. Not for the faint of heart. Now they drop you TWICE!
Shows/Walking Tours
Beauty and the Beast-Live show not quite as well staged as the Broadway musical, but still a really good show. Backstage Pass to 101 Dalmations-A tour through a working movie set, a demonstration of the "blue screen" film technique, then an up close look at a few set pieces and some of Cruella DeVil's costumes from the movie starring Glenn Close. Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame: A Musical Adventure-A live stage version (shortened of course) of the Disney movie out a couple of years ago. Not a bad show. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular-A show that demonstrates how they did some of the stunts on the Indiana Jones movies. Jim Henson's Muppet Vision 3D-They should have called it 4D. Not only is is a 3D movie, but lots of live action stuff happens right in the theatre to assault all of your senses. Super Star Television-Audience members are chosen to participate in this demonstration of television production. Play the characters in some of your favorite TV shows! Voyage of the Little Mermaid-If you enjoyed the cartoon, you'll like this live version of it. It's a nice show.
The Best Restaurants
50's Prime Time Cafe-When you walk in, "Mom" (all the waitresses are Mom!) tells you to have a seat in the living room, watch some TV, and she'll call you when your table is ready. Your eating area is a replica of a 1950's kitchen and "Mom" will even come back while you're eating to tell you to eat your veggies or else no dessert. And if you still don't finish, they might even pick up the fork and feed you themselves! The food is good and the service is great. Everyone really gets into their roles here. "Dad" will fix you a drink at the bar in the waiting area. Hollywood Brown Derby-A replica of the real Brown Derby, right down to some of the menu items. You might even catch Louella Parsons and Hedda Hopper at their usual table! Not really for kids-they might get bored here. Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre-Your table is the front or back seat of a 1950's car, which is parked in a drive-in theatre showing sci-fi movies. Good food and fun.
