Agent 99 is Maxwell Smart's partner. Although her real name is never revealed, in one episode she claimed her real name is Susan Hilton, but later in that episode, denies it saying that it was just a fake. Agent 99 is really the brains of the "Smart" team because she is the one that makes sure that Max doesn't do anything dumb. However, most of the credit goes to Maxwell Smart, since he always claims it. Later, Maxwell Smart marries 99. By then we at least know she is Mrs. Smart, and nothing more. The series get more humorous however, when 99's mom comes into the picture, and a little rivalry between 99's mother and Max begins. Max is normally a good sport, but 99's mother keeps calling him a bum. Remember even 99's mother doesn't know that they are both spies.
