This listing contains all of the toys in my Collection of G1 items which are not Gestalts, Micromasters or Fakes (those are on separate pages). This page includes most of the toys most people think of when they hear Transformers, toys such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee etc., 8^)

Exclusives

The following table shows a listing of all of the various 'exclusive' figures which I currently own which came out in the G1 era.

Notes:

The powerdashers are very cheap toys, I didn't even know they were Transformers until I ran across a Toy Guide which had pictures of all the early transformers! I do like the fact that I now have two of these toys tho! 8^)

Masters

The 'masters' technology was another interesting concept which was implemented for the Transformers line. Again, I just loved the things because to me, they were just another form or merging robots!

Headmasters

Notes:

Headmasters were robots whose heads could transform into separate figures who 'drove' the vehicle.

Needless to say I would like to get the missing pieces for Scorponok, and while you're at it, please send me a Fort Max! 8^)

Targetmasters

Targetmasters are transformers whose weapons could transform into mini-robots.

I seem to have bad luck when it comes to collecting Targetmasters! Even with the pieces I have I can't make a complete Targetmaster, 8^(

Powermasters are figures whose engines could transform into mini-robots, in addition the transformer could not transform without the engine in place.

I still have not been able to complete my G1 Darkwing toy, the toy looks sooooo nice in the catalogs!

I would really like to get the engines and gun unit for Doubledealer

Throttlebots

These toys are on the same level as minibots, except they had pull back motors on them. I was able to get all of them in one set, 8^)

Notes:

Jetfire is even higher than HotSpot and ScatterShot on the list of best Transformer toys, because it was also a Valkyrie from Robotech. I never forgave myself for trading away the 4" plastic version that I had (which could transform into ALL three modes!), but at least now I have the real thing, even if yellowed!

Also, I of COURSE had to get Optimus Prime, the first character you think of when you hear the word, Transformer!

I also would like to get the other pieces of MetroPlex, the original kick afterburner 'city' bot!

Insecticons

Notes:

I've had no luck with Insecticons either, all I have left are the 'regular' ones, and they're all loose, 8^(.

The 'deluxe' Insecticons were pretty nice figures, Beast Wars brings some of that line back, 8^).
