HOULIHAN AND BIG CHUCK

After Ernie Anderson left Ghoulardi and Cleveland behind in 1966, WJW-TV weatherman Bob "Houlihan" Wells auditioned and got the job as the Friday night host. He talked "Big Chuck" Schodowski, a station engineer who wrote skits for Ghoulardi, into being his costar and another legend was born. Houlihan left in 1979 to run a station in Florida. Today, he is semi-retired and still pops up on Friday nights in the form of repeats. When he left, Another person came on board (but that's another story).....
