AGENT BUTCH DOGGY
Butch Doggy was an FBI agent chosen to lead the manhunt for Agent Sculder because of his relentless nature, persistance and downright manliness. These qualities served him well in a glittering career spanning the Marines, NYPD and many quality straight to video sequels. Being the manliest agent in the FBI is something of a burden to Doggy, but one which he carries with great flare and not a shred of modesty. He believes himself to be God's gift to the world. Although, of course, if God created him in his image then God would have to be very, very manly.
Doggy found his investigation hampered by the intervention of Agent Mully, who seemed obsessed with the idea that Sculder had been abducted by aliens. Althougn not believing her, Doggy realised the links she and Assistant Director Spinner had drawn between Sculder and the Posh Club test subject Bart Simpson were undeniable and joined them in their pursuit of the boy. (The Universe) In his work with the agents, Doggy had to rationalise not only Bart's extrodianry nature, but also the strength and indestructablity of the alien Bounty Hunter (a being only slightly less manly than himself) and the growing conspiracy within the FBI. (Everything) Although failing to recover Sculder, Doggy vowed to continue the search for him, and agreed to assist Mully on the Hex Files. And, after coming face to face with the bizzare work Mully was involved he discovered that his investigative methods could function in the bizzare world of the Hex Files (Worst Episode Ever) And, despite his initial doubts, he has come to realise that persuing Hex Files are the best (and most manly) way of finding Agent Sculder. When the Colonist threat became so real to him that even his most manly denials were
not enough (Invasion Earth) Doggy resolved to help defeat the aliens, even at
the expense of sacrificing his initial directives to find Agent Sculder. Despite himself,
however, he and Mully found their fallen comrade and Doggy helped arrange the trial
which would save Sculder's life when he was arrested by the military. (Nothing
Like the Truth) Cajoling Bart Simpson, the former Posh Club test subject, into
testifying put the boy's life in jeopardy and despite believing the most manly course to
be attacking the Colonists, Doggy realised that true manliness came from fatherhood.
And so, abandoning his career and his life at the FBI, Doggy fled with the boy to a
secret location, resolving to spend the rest of his life protecting him from future
harm. X-File Equivalent: Agent John Doggett
