The History Of The Unofficial Kamar de los Reyes Fan Club


I have watched One Life To Live for many years. The first time I saw the character Antonio Vega, I could not miss a single show. I knew right away that it was great acting and that it would be a great character. The character of Antonio Vega brought life to the show. Every single scene with him was strong and wonderful. I liked the actor so much and I was dying to find out more about him, including his name, which I didn't even know yet! So, I watched the end credits of the show one day and saw his name, Kamar de los Reyes. A sexy name to go with that sexy body. I watched for articles in magazines and looked for more info on him everywhere. All I had been able to find though was his name and that he had two brothers and that his father and brothers were musicians. So, when I finally got the internet, I figured I could find a lot more info. I did a search on him, and came up with practically zip. So, once I learned HTML, I decided to make a webpage for him. Then I decided that it would be an even better idea to make a fan club for him. So, on March 10, 1997, I put up a page titled, "The Unofficial Kamar de los Reyes Fan Club". It was just a simple page at first. I just had the title, a picture of him, a page with a very small biography, a page with some more pictures of him, a form where people could join the club, a guestbook, and that was pretty much it. The page slowly grew as time went on. We had a lot more features and a much nicer layout. I slowly got distracted from keeping up the site near the end of 2000. I got busy, and just never had the time to update. Towards the end of 2002, I decided that I wanted to do a complete and total makeover on the site, and try once again to keep it up and running. However, I realized that I would never have the time to adequately run a fan club. Therefore, it once again became simply a major fan site for Kamar. This page has come a long way in the time that it has been around. I want to thank everyone who has helped it make it this far!
