Roy DeSoto, played by Kevin Tighe, is married to Joanne, who he
has known since the third grade. He has two
children, a son Chris, and a daughter. Roy does not
like or get along with his mother-in-law. His
hobbies include fishing, picking race horses for fun,
and restoring the old engine he and Johnny bought.
Has thaught about going into business for himself.
In fact the floor cleaning idea was his. Roy bought
a house, after much urging from Johnny. His favorite
phrase is "Chili Today Hot Tamale."
