ECW Weekly Report

Well, Well, Well. Here it is. The most highly anticipated report ever in the history of, well everything.

DAWGS!!! I am back from my little trip I took, away from all human contact, where there was no computer, just tv with trusty American 1 television. Anyway, Here comes the report. The show in Michigan started out with newly acquired ECW wrestler, Sid (formerly Sid Justice/Vicious) taking on Ulf Hermann, in which Sid won easily. Next came the new intro, with pictures of Heavyweight Champion Taz included. Next came a match between Rob Van Dam and some other worthless guy, it doesn’t really matter. RVD won easily in a typical one of his matches, with a couple of Vandamminators, some single person rolling thunders, frog splashes, etc. Next came the best part of the show in my opinion. It was a clip from House Party ’99, only $34.95. Tommy Dreamer, Lance Storm w/ Tammy Lynn Bytch, and Justin Credible and his entourage, were all standing in the ring. Dreamer grabbed the mike, and proceeded to rip on the whole entourage, one by one. He started by telling one new member to go in the back and do what she does to other guys. Then she got all pissed off, and Tommy said he was talking to Jason, which pissed him off. Then Nicole Bass came in, and of course, Tommy had a real good crack at her. He then proceeded to verbally attack Lance Storm and Tammy, then the clip ended, and they went back to the action. There was a Fan Cam being used, and somehow Joel Gertner got placed on a table, while New Jack’s music was playing. All of a sudden, New Jack came flying from the balcony on top of him, all to Joey shouting “Joel Gertner’s dead! Joel Gertner’s dead!” The Dudleys then attacked New Jack, laying him on the mat once again. In the next match, Little Guido took on some foreign dude, I don’t remember who. Anyway, half way through, Super Nova decided to come down, and then Tracy Smothers joined in. Somehow, Nova pinned Little Guido, and that was the end. Then the foreign dude started to tell the camera something in another language, and Joey goes “You tell em!” The last match was another extreme match between new rivals, Super Crazy and Tojiri. This match was filled with extreme maneuvers, and finally Super Crazy emerged victorious, until next week when they fight again

Sorry about the delay in the release of this issue. There were technical difficulties which set me back. Anyway, there are no announcements this week except that the ECW Extreme Music is going to be garbage, not quite what I expected with entrance songs and stuff like that. On to the report. The show started out with Lance Storm defeating Chris Chetti, which was not very exciting, especially considering I missed part of the match because of taping problems. In this episode, there were only three matches, the one above, another one (mentioned later), and Justin Credible versus Ball Mahoney accompanied by Axle Rotten, who just returned from the hospital. Well, the match was pretty normal, one man beating the snot out of the other and vice versa. Well, then Justin Credible started to beat Axle Rotten with the Singapore cane, and then Tommy Dreamer came out to help. First, Dreamer got the cane and whooped up Justin Credible, and then Justin Credible beat up on Dreamer. After a while, the entourage left, leaving a lot of people, including Blue Meanie and Super Nova, to look after Axle Rotten. Then the show got a little more exciting. The next match was Buh Buh Ray Dudley versus Masato Tanaka. After more entertaining intros by Joel Gertner, Sign Guy had a sign that said “You are a Loser”, the match began. For the most part, Buh Buh Ray dominated, until a chair was thrown into the ring and Tanaka was hit with it. At this time, who should come down to the ring, but the Original Triple Threat. They just sat there for a while, but then Bam Bam Bigelow decided he wanted to beat up Tanaka. This of course brought out Rob Van Dam and Sabu (No Taz). They came flying out and beat the snot out of the whole Triple Threat and all the Dudley Boyz. After putting Masato Tanaka on top of Buh Buh Ray for the win, the Triple Threat started to take over. So, out came Taz. Taz immediately went after Shane Douglas, doing all of his suplexes, including a belly to belly into the stands, where they continued to go at it, Taz whooping up. Sabu and RVD, meanwhile, took to the air flying on top of Candido and Bigelow, and wasting them as well. That is where it ended.
