-
- Triad
gang member Kung Wei (Jet Li) is poor and has to support his family. The only
way he can support his family is by doing criminal acts. But is he really
a thug? When his son (Xie Miao) gets involved Kung ends up having the mob
and Hong Kong cop, Fong (Anita Mui) on his trail.
-
- This
movie will satisfy both Jet Li and Hong Kong bloodshed (action) fans.
- Jet
is (as always) a convincing actor and though he doesn't fight a lot here,
when he does he's great.
- Shaolin
kid Xie Miao plays Li's son and shows some nice kung fu skills including forms.
- Yu
Rong Guang plays the triad boss and seems to over-act a bit.
- Jet’s
companion is the big-eyed betting guy from "Boxer’s
Adventure".
