| ABOUT JACINTA STAPLETON |
| Jacinta Stapleton was born on June 6th 1979 at Francis Cabrini Hospital, Malvern Victoria. As a child she always had an interest in entertaining people and starting acting at the tender age of six. Her first role was in 1988 as Jassie Garfield in "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". She attended 'Star of The Sea', a school for performing arts through years 7 to 10. Then she was welcomed into 'Sandringham College' for upper school. She played a few other movie roles through this time such as "The Genie From Down Under" in 1995. Jacinta appeared in many television commericals(listed adjacent) in her teenage years. Obivously her major break though cam in 1997 when she first appeared in "Neighbours". Since then her career continues to blossom, playing Amy Greenwood, a character that doesn't even live in Ramsay Street. |

| When Amy first appeared she was the member of a close-knit gang of wild schoolkids. Lance Wilkinson became smitten with her tried all manner of things to fit in with her circle of friends so he could become her boyfriend. |
| They still enjoy an 'interesting' relationship where she takes the lead in everything they do. Her behaviour improved, and in her final year at school she shared the role of school captain with Lance's sister Anne. |
| Although she spent a short time living at the Martin house, Amy is one of the few main characters in the history of Neighbours who hasn't been a permanent Ramsay Street resident. |

At school she was in the cool gang, but developed a soft spot for the shy and bumbling Lance. Their relationship has ended and their pair are struggling to remain friends. After just finishing school, Amy is training to be a flight attendant. |
