Lucky was pacing outside of Sly’s hospital room looking about like he felt. Tired and worn. He hadn’t slept much the night before and it showed. Sly still hadn’t woken up so Lucky was still waiting for answers. Lucky heard footsteps coming down the hall and recognized them as Frisco’s laid back stride. Lucky didn’t lift his head or stop his pacing as Frisco approached.
“I take it he’s still out.” Frisco said, it wasn’t a question.
“Tony said he should be waking up anytime now.”
Frisco nodded. “Rob’s awake. I figure it’s only a matter of time before the masses descend on him.”
Lucky nodded, still knowing that that was partly his fault.
“I talked to Sean.” Frisco continued. “He’s sending us some help.” He said knowing Lucky would catch his meaning.
Lucky looked at Frisco like he’d grown a second head. “Are you kidding me?”
“Nope, Sean thinks it’ll be a surprise to Faison.”
“Of course it’ll be a surprise to Faison, but it’ll be a surprise to them too!” Lucky said his voice rising as he went on. “They’re just now dealing with me being alive, they can’t handle this now!”
“Sean seems to think it’s time.” Frisco said shrugging his shoulders.
Lucky was just about to tell Frisco exactly what he thought about Sean’s timing when he heard something from inside Sly’s room. They both quickly entered the room to see Sly trying unsuccessfully to get out of bed. He had knocked over the phone that had been on the bedside table.
“Not trying for an early release are we?” Frisco said, his voice hard with mistrust. He knew Lucky wanted to give his cousin the benefit of the doubt, but Frisco didn’t trust him.
“What happened?” Sly said with a hoarse voice. He was looking around the room like a caged animal. His eyes finally settled on Lucky. “Hey cuz, long time no see.”
“Well you know, I’ve been busy.” Lucky deadpanned. He turned to Frisco. “Can you give us a minute?”
Frisco nodded and stepped quietly into the hallway.
Lucky walked slowly towards the bed as Sly gingerly got back into bed, wincing slightly. Lucky just watched, as Sly became increasingly nervous. Lucky had found that most people were more intimidated by silence then they were by yelling and throwing things. It was an interrogation tactic he had learned from Frisco, though he’d never thought he’d be using it on his own cousin. This thought sobered Lucky; he was interrogating his own cousin. “What were you doing down there Sly?” Lucky asked quietly.
“I could ask you the same thing?” Sly countered, going on the defensive. “You suddenly show up from the great beyond and I’m the one owing you explanations?”
“What were you doing with Faison’s goons?” Lucky asked with his eyes closed, dreading the answer.
Sly was silent for a few moments, with his eyes downcast. Lucky was starting to think that he wasn’t going to answer.
“I am one of Faison’s goons.” Sly said quietly.
“Dammit Sly!” Lucky cursed. “Do you know what kind of psycho you’re involved with?” Lucky said angrily.
“Oh believe me you can’t not notice madness like that.” Sly smirked, trying to lighten the situation.
“This isn’t a joke Sly. I’ve been trying for years to bring that psychopath down and people have been trying for a heck of a lot longer than that.” Lucky said seriously. “He’s no light weight.”
“Don’t you think I know that! Believe me this isn’t my chosen profession.” Sly said bitterly. “I would give anything to not be involved with Faison.”
“Great, then let’s get you out of this.” Lucky said, sounding like it could be that simple.
“It’s not that easy Lucky.” Sly said knowing Lucky knew that.
“I know that, but I can get you out Sly. The WSB can help you.” Lucky reasoned.
“Lucky if I tell you anything I can guarantee that I’ll be dead by the time they serve the Jell-O. You don’t understand what this man can do.” Sly smirked.
Lucky’s eyes flashed briefly with anger and in seconds he was at Sly’s bed with his hand squeezing his throat like a vice. “I understand better than anyone what that man can do. I don’t care what he’s done to you, it can’t compare to what he’s done to me.” Lucky said through gritted teeth, his voice coming out like broken glass.
Sly’s eyes flashed with fear as he struggled to get air into his lungs.
Lucky saw the look of fear and horror on Sly’s face and instantly released his hold. He walked quickly over to the window and quickly, automatically shoved all the dangerous thoughts in his head to the deep places in his soul. He let out a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair as he felt himself relax. He could hear Sly coughing behind him. After a few moments the room quieted into a dead silence, Lucky could feel Sly’s eyes on the back of his head.
“If I give you information can you protect me?”
Lucky nodded his head tiredly his right hand at the back of his neck trying in vain to rub out some of the tension there.
“I can’t tell you much, I think Faison considered me a security risk. But all I know is that someone has been bankrolling him for the last couple years. I don’t know who, but I know where to find out.”
“Good, that’s a start.” Lucky said turning around, looking like the last five minutes hadn’t happened. “Just tell me where to find the information.”
“I’ll show you.” Sly said, once again struggling to get out of the bed. Lucky rushed over and gently pushed him back.
“No you don’t. You were just shot!” Lucky’s expression twisted into a smirk. “Besides, you’re no good to us dead.”
Sly laughed softly and shook his head. “You need back up and someone who knows his way around.”
“I can take care of myself and I will have backup.”
“What, that idiot Jones?” Sly didn’t know Frisco but he didn’t like him already, and to Sly it looked like the feeling was mutual.
Lucky’s eyes darkened for a moment. “No not Frisco, someone else.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucky entered Robert’s room quietly so as not to disturb him if he was sleeping. When he entered he found Robert sitting up reading a file. “Glad to see you finally decided to join the living.” Lucky joked.
“Well I think you might be the only one, Mac’s already come by to yell at me.” Robert said wryly.
Lucky looked down guiltily. “I’m sorry Robert, that’s all my fault.”
“You made my brother mad at me? Cause I could swear I do quite a fine job of that all by myself.” Rob joked.
“Robert, I’m serious. If I hadn’t gone to the gallery none of this would have happened. You wouldn’t be in danger, Sly wouldn’t be in danger, and Elizabeth wouldn’t know I’m alive.”
“Now listen Lucky, first of all, I can take care of myself. I’m not a legend for nothing, I do still have some tricks up my sleeves.” Robert said grinning. “And Sly is not in danger because of you. He’s the one who chose to work for Faison.”
“Yeah, but I was the one who convinced him to give information to me and the WSB.”
“And what exactly did young Eckert tell us?” Robert said raising an eyebrow.
“He says that Faison has a backer.”
“Faison hasn’t had a backer since he killed Helena.” Robert said thoughtfully.
Lucky couldn’t help but smile at that. “Yeah, but Sly says that he does and that his financial records are in a safe in Faison’s office. I’m going after it tonight.”
Robert nodded. “Do you have backup?”
“Yeah, Sean’s sending help.” Lucky said giving Robert a pointed look.
Robert groaned. “I told him it was too soon.”
“You knew he was going to do this?” Lucky asked incredulously.
“He mentioned the possibility to me.” Robert said grimly. “I told him I was against it, but you know how Sean is.”
“Yeah, well I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
Robert nodded; he knew Lucky’s feelings on this subject. “But you are going to need his help to get into Faison’s safe.”
“I know.” Lucky conceded, clearly marking the subject closed. “What did you tell Mac about where you’ve been for the last twelve years?”
“Not much, he was pretty much doing all of the talking. And when he found out that Robin knew his face turned red and that little vein above his eyebrow started throbbing.” Robert said looking almost amused at the memory.
Lucky laughed quietly. "What do you think he's more mad about? That you didn't tell him or that Frisco's known for seven years?"
Robert groaned. "I'm not sure. Not that I blame Mac for not liking Felicia's ex-husband, but he knew that they still had a connection going into the relationship. And besides he divorced her four years ago. He'll probably always have feelings for her though."
"Yeah, but I guess I just still see this from Frisco's point of view. I see how much he loves her and those girls and how much it hurts him that he can't be with them and that he had to hurt them to protect them." Lucky shook his head and gave a bitter laugh. "You know when I found out about Nikolas I was so angry at my mom for keeping that secret and for lying to us. I never really understood until now that there are circumstances where you have to hurt the ones you love to protect them." Lucky said thoughtfully.
Robert nodded even though Lucky wasn't looking at him.
After a few moments Lucky spoke again, his voice small and weak and so much like a child that Robert couldn't help but see him as a son. "Will Elizabeth ever be able to forgive me?"
Robert looked sympathetically at the young man. "I don't know Lucky, but you will never find out unless you talk to her." He pointed out.
Lucky rolled his eyes. "Thank you Captain Obvious." Robert could actually see it as Lucky pushed his vulnerability away. Lucky ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath. "I know. I guess I've spent so much time hiding from her, it's hard not to now, you know."
Robert laughed. "Oh believe me I know. Every time the door opens I want to dive under the bed."
Lucky laughed. “Yeah well, that might not be such a bad idea. When Faison finds out you’re alive he’ll be gunning for you.”
“Like I said Lucky, I can take care of myself.” Robert said smiling.
“I know, I know, I just don’t want you to get hurt.” Lucky said frowning. “I should get going.”
“Probably, let me know what happens tonight okay?”
Lucky nodded. “Sure.” He turned and walked out of the room quickly. He nodded to the guards and turned towards Sly’s room.
He took the elevator down two floors and stepped out. He heard Elizabeth’s voice and almost out of habit he ducked into an empty hallway but still close enough to hear and see what was going on. He silently laughed at himself, remembering Robert’s comment about diving under the bed.
“I don’t need a stinking wheel chair!” Elizabeth growled as Jason wheeled her down the hall.
“I think it’s policy.” Jason murmured, seemingly unaffected by Elizabeth’s attitude.
“But I am fine!” She protested.
The nurse that hovered behind Jason looked nervous. “You really should let me do that, it’s policy.”
“Unless you want her to make more noise you should probably let me do it.” Jason said giving her a thin smile.
The nurse looked doubtful but relented and Jason continued to push Elizabeth to the elevator.
“Jason, did you bring my motorcycle?” She asked.
Jason sighed preparing himself for the worst. “No I brought the limo.”
“What?!” Elizabeth exclaimed turning around in the wheelchair to glare at him.
“You’re still a little doped up from the meds they gave you so they didn’t want you driving.” Jason said calmly.
Elizabeth huffed. “Well the least you could have done was bring your bike so I could at least get a ride.” She grumbled.
Jason smiled. “Maybe I’ll take you for a spin later today.” He said leaning down to plant a kiss on the top of her head.
Elizabeth hid her smile behind a glare. “Well I’m still mad.”
“I know.” And then they disappeared into the elevator and away from Lucky’s line of sight.
He knew he had no right to be angry or jealous but just seeing Jason with her was making him want to tear Jason’s arms off. It didn’t help knowing how close the two of them were, knowing that she’d once been pregnant with Jason’s child.
Lucky turned and walked quickly towards Sly’s room as if trying to run away from his thoughts. He wasn’t looking where he was going and ran right into someone.
“Whoa there Cowboy, what are you running from?” Luke joked, holding onto Lucky’s shoulders to steady him.
Lucky wrenched away from Luke like he’d been burned. “Who says I was running?” Lucky said caustically.
Luke put his hands up in defense. “You just looked a little frazzled, that’s all.”
“I’m just fine okay.” Lucky growled and started walking away, but Luke stopped him.
“Cowboy what’s wrong?” Luke asked concerned.
“Did I say something was wrong?” Lucky shrugged off Luke’s arm defensively.
“No, like I said you just look like something’s bugging you.”
“And like I said, I’m fine. Why do you care?”
“What? You’re my son, that’s why I care!” Luke said, all of a sudden very confused.
“Since when does being your son mean anything?” Lucky shot.
Luke was actually shocked silence. He didn’t know where this was coming from and honestly neither did Lucky.
“Look Dad I’m sorry. A lot’s been happening.” Lucky ran a hand over his face. “I need to get out of here.” And then he was gone leaving Luke to stare after him in complete confusion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luke walked into Robert’s room and slammed the door behind him. “Next time will you tell those monkeys out there that I don’t need to be frisked!”
Robert laughed. “Sorry mate they’re a little nervous.”
Luke shook his head and smiled at Robert. “It’s good to see you alive buddy.”
“Well the alive part isn’t anything new to me, but it actually is good to be back.” Robert said with a grin.
“Yeah well, like I’ve always said, it’s really hard to stay away from the good ol’ Chuckles.”
“Well I was doing just fine up until now.” Robert grumbled.
“Then why now Rob?” Luke asked seriously.
Robert sighed tiredly. “You know I can’t tell you that.”
“Yeah I know. You can’t tell me why my son had to stay away, you can’t tell me why my cousin’s kid is in here under WSB protective security, and I suppose you can’t tell me why my son just blew his top at me either.” Luke said, clearly annoyed.
“You’re right I can’t.” Robert said solemnly. “But I can tell you that your son has missed you very much over the years, and for whatever reason he’s mad, he won’t stay that why for long.”
There was something in the way Robert said that that Luke couldn’t put his finger on.
Robert smiled. “So tell me why on earth you and Laura are divorced.”
Luke grinned. “Now that is a very long story.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucky walked out onto the docks and looked out over the water. He dug his hands into the pockets of his trench coat and closed his eyes. Could this day get any worse? Sly has been working for Faison. Robert is vulnerable because of me. I lashed out at my father for no good reason. And worst of all Elizabeth seems way to close to Jason.
“There you are!”
Nope, I was wrong, it just got worse.
“You know Jones isn’t very helpful when it comes to finding you.” The young man said as he descended the stairs. His brown hair fell in his eyes as he walked and his blue eyes glittered with amusement.
“Well you seem to have managed.” Lucky said dryly. “What are you doing here Levi?”
“I was ordered here by the stuffed shirt himself.” Levi smirked.
Lucky rolled his eyes and laughed softly. “Sean’s not all that bad.”
“Well you always were the favorite.” Levi joked, but Lucky caught the double meaning.
“You shouldn’t be here.” Lucky said quietly turning his gaze back out to the water.
“Oh believe me I’d much rather sitting on a beach in Marseilles with Monique.”
Lucky looked at him questioningly with an amused smile on his face.
“She’s this waitress I picked up in Nice.” He grinned wolfishly and groaned as the memory came back to him. “You would not believe the things she can do with her…”
Lucky put up his hand to stop him. “I really don’t think I want to know.”
Levi shrugged. “Your loss, cause she has a twin, and man I swear she must have been a contortionist in the Russian circus.”
Lucky just shook his head and laughed.
“Oh right, I forgot, you’re a monk.” Levi smirked.
“I’m hardly a monk.” Lucky said looking down at the water.
“What, your missions? All those little mob princesses you took to bed for the higher purpose of catching Faison? It’s the job Lucky; it’s not you. They don’t matter.” Levi said firmly.
“They matter to me!”
“No they don’t Lucky. You can’t tell me that with every one of those girls you weren’t thinking of your precious Elizabeth.”
Lucky shot Levi a glare and then looked angrily over the water.
Levi took a deep breath and decided to let up on him a little. “So have you seen her yet?”
Lucky shrugged and kept his eyes forward. “Kinda.”
“What does that mean?” Levi asked rolling his eyes.
“She spotted me after the explosion last night and I ran. She chased me all the way from the warehouse to here. She slapped me and then passed out.” Lucky said, a small smile playing at his lips. Even though, at the time, he was dying inside at all the pain he had caused her, now he had to smile. He had always loved the fight in her; it always reminded him of the first time he met her. Lucky shook himself out of his thoughts. “And then last night I went to her room, but she was asleep and I didn’t want to wake her. Then this morning I saw her leaving the hospital with Jason.” He finished lamely.
“Coward.” Levi muttered.
Lucky turned to glare at him harshly, but Levi just shrugged trying to look innocent. “What? It’s true. There is only one reason you aren’t with that supposed soul-mate of yours and that is because you are afraid.” Levi said, not backing down.
“Don’t talk to me about cowardice. You’ve been avoiding this town for the past ten years.” Lucky shot back.
“I had things to think about.” He mumbled.
“Coward.” Lucky muttered with a pointed look at Levi.
Levi held up his hands in surrender. “Okay so we both have issues.”
Lucky laughed shortly and shook his head.
“So, are you going to go see your little Hell’s Angel or do I have to drag you down there myself?” Levi said only half joking.
Lucky looked at Levi with a raised eyebrow and then shook his head. “I could take you.”
Levi rolled his eyes and gave Lucky a shove towards Kelly’s. “Get out of here.”
“Okay, okay I’m going.” Lucky walked a few steps and turned around. “I’m gonna need your help tonight. Meet me back here in another hour?”
“I’ll be here.”
Lucky nodded and slowly started to walk away.
“Hey Lucky!” Levi called and then continued when Lucky turned around. “Everything’s going to be okay.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some day out of the blue In a crowded street or a deserted square I'll turn and I'll see you As if our love were new Some day we can start again, some day soon
Lucky walked into the courtyard outside of Kelly’s. He looked carefully through the window and he could have sworn his heart stopped. There she was. He couldn’t believe that after all this time and all the pain she’d been through she could still glow like that. Not that he should have been surprised she had always been that kind of beautiful that would make his heart hurt. And there she was, with Jason.
Here comes the night Here come the memories Lost in your arms Down in the foreign fields Not so long ago Seems like eternity Those sweet afternoons Still capture me
“Would you stop fussing over me!” Elizabeth said through gritted teeth. She was obviously fed up with what Jason was doing. Jason sighed and sat down at the table with her.
“You just got out of the hospital Elizabeth, you should be careful.”
“I was only in there because I passed out and I may have bumped my head.”
“Yeah I suppose you forgot that you were also buried under a couple hundred pounds of rubble too?”
Elizabeth rolled her eyes. “I didn’t break my leg or my hands so I’m pretty sure I can get my own food.” Elizabeth said looking very annoyed.
“You know most people would be happy to be waited on hand and foot.” Jason picked up a fork and stole a bite of her apple pie.
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow and took a bite of the pie. “And what, you expected me to be one of those people?”
Jason just shook his head and rolled his eyes.
Elizabeth glared at him. “Don’t you have a girlfriend to go to?”
Jason sighed. “Carly isn’t my girlfriend.”
Elizabeth smirked. “You know Jason, I hear denial can cause ulcers.”
The door jingled and Jason was about to say something when he noticed Elizabeth’s attention was elsewhere. He turned around to find Lucky standing there, his eyes locked with Elizabeth’s.
I still believe I still put faith in us We had it all and watched it slip away Where are we now Not where we want to be Those hot afternoons Still follow me
“You’re right, I probably should go see Carly.” Jason got up and put on his leather jacket. Elizabeth nodded numbly, not able to take her eyes off of the ghost at the door. Jason leaned down and planted a kiss on the top of her head and whispered in her ear. “I don’t have to go, you going to be okay?”
Elizabeth tore her eyes away from Lucky and offered Jason a shaky smile. “I’m okay.” She whispered.
Jason left, not without a withering glare at Lucky of course. Elizabeth would have laughed if she could breathe. There was silence for a few moments and the rest of the dinner seemed to fade away. Lucky felt like he couldn’t move, like his feet had somehow melted into the floor.
“So did you come to see me or did you just come for the chili?” Elizabeth said, trying to make a joke. For some reason, when he just looked at her, all the walls she’d spent years perfecting came tumbling down. He was always the one person who could do that.
“Well as much as I miss Ruby’s chili, I think we’d better talk.” He said quietly, avoiding her eyes.
Elizabeth nodded. She stood up and shrugged on her leather jacket. “Let’s take a walk.”
Lucky narrowed his eyes in concern. “It’s pretty chilly out there. Are you sure you should, you just got out of the hospital.”
Elizabeth rolled her eyes, “You sound like Jason.”
Some day out of the blue Maybe years from now Or tomorrow night I'll turn and I'll see you As if we always knew Some day we would live again, some day soon
They walked in silence for a few minutes neither wanting to break the comfortable silence. Elizabeth felt like she was feeling every possible emotion at the same time. Happiness, sadness, anger… and too many others to count.
All Lucky felt was absolute joy and absolute fear. They walked until they got to the docks and their bench, as if both of them knew that this is where they were headed.
"Sorry I slapped you." She mumbled as they sat down. She didn't know how to act, and she was trying to be nice, but that wasn't exactly something she'd had a lot of practice at over the last five years.
"That's okay, you had every right." Lucky said quietly. "I'd almost forgotten how mad you can get." But I could never forget how beautiful you are when you're angry.
Elizabeth laughed uncomfortably. "Yeah well there's not too many people now who forget that.”
Lucky laughed slightly. “You always did have a temper.”
“Oh, like you were Joe Cool.” She said smirking. Lucky turned and smiled at her and Elizabeth felt like she was fifteen again. When she wanted nothing more than for Lucky to smile at her like that and then lean in and brush his soft lips across hers. Suddenly it felt like the world was closing in and collapsing in on itself. She quickly got off the bench and put as much space between her and Lucky as she could and still be on the docks.
“I can’t do this Lucky. It can’t just magically feel like it used to.” She said, her voice hard. All her walls were coming back up.
“I still love you Elizabeth.” Lucky said quietly. It took all of his energy to stay seated on the bench, but he knew she would only run if he tried to reach out to her.
“Don’t say that Lucky. Please don’t. You’ve been dead… gone I don’t know… for five years and too much has happened.” She ran a hand through her hair in and practically screamed in frustration. “Gawd, how can you even claim to love me still? How can you love someone that’s not even there? You can’t see them or touch them or feel them, but you can still love them. How can you do that Lucky?” She felt the tears sting her eyes and did everything she could to force them back. I am not crying in front of him.
Lucky looked at her with so much pain in his eyes, her walls almost came back down. “You know how.”
Elizabeth choked back what Lucky could have sworn was a sob and sniffed back the tears that were so close. “I need to get out of here, I can’t do this.” She whispered and before Lucky could stop her she was gone.
He felt like his whole body was going limp. She’s never going to forgive me.
I still believe I still put faith in us
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Clear.” Levi called over his shoulder. A few seconds later Lucky came around the corner and went straight for the door to Faison’s office. They had already taken care of the two guards in the building. Lucky got to the door and knelt down. He tucked his gun into the waistband of his black pants and got out his lock picking tools, while Levi continued to stand guard.
“So how did it go with Elizabeth?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.” Lucky said shortly.
“Just give her time. From what you’ve told me about her, she’s been through a lot and having your boyfriend come back from the dead would probably give any girl a bit stand offish.” Levi said helpfully.
“You don’t know anything about Elizabeth.” Lucky ground out.
“Are you going to pick that lock anytime soon?” Levi asked after a few moments trying to lighten the mood.
“It’s delicate work, have some patience.” Lucky growled.
“I would have had it done by now.” Levi commented, only really wanting to annoy Lucky.
The lock clicked and Lucky turned the knob. He turned and grinned smugly at Levi. “You were saying?”
Lucky once again had his gun in his hand and he nudged the door open. He took a couple cautious steps inside and then turned and nodded to Levi.
Levi walked quickly into the room and when straight for the painting on the wall, where Sly had said they’d find the safe. He set his tool bag down on the desk and got a few things out while he prepared to crack the safe. Lucky stayed by the door to keep a lookout.
Levi hooked an electronic device up to the keypad on the safe and then pressed his listening device up to the safe as the electronic device began running numbers.
“So is Jones too old for all this cloak and dagger stuff now?” Levi asked casually.
Lucky rolled his eyes. “No, he had other things to do.”
“Oh so those hard @ss bosses of yours actually gave him a night off?” Levi smirked.
“Levi, you work for the same people that Frisco and I do. And I seem to recall that you were lounging on a beach in France with a leggy blond just yesterday.” Lucky said grinning.
“Yeah but I’m not Two of the best damn agents in this god forsaken organization.” Levi said, doing a remarkably good imitation of Sean. “You guys get all the credit and I do all the behind the scenes stuff. I got it.” He complained as the last number of the keycode appeared on the screen. He punched the numbers on the keypad and the safe popped open. “Bingo.”
Lucky rushed over to the safe and began going through the papers inside as Levi put his tools away. “I think the real reason you sit on a beach most of the time is because you inherited our father’s work ethic.” Lucky smirked.
Levi laughed. “Yeah I did, but so did you, you just also got his penchant for revenge.”
Lucky would have glared at him but something on the papers caught his eye. “I think I have something here.”
“What is it?” Levi said coming to look over Lucky’s shoulder.
When they saw what was on the paper they both exclaimed at once, “Oh Sh!t!”
