Unless you were transported to this website by alien Broccoloids, you already know that Buttercup is the hard-hittin' component of a trio of super-powered kindergarten sisters called the Powerpuff Girls. Together, they keep crime and destruction under thumb in their home city of Townsville--saving the world before bedtime.
Buttercup is unlike her two sisters. Bubbles, who has blond pigtails and wears blue, is the cute one. She's shy, likes stuffed animals, and is afraid of the dark. Blossom, who has long orange hair and wears pink, is the group leader. She's politically correct, bossy, smart, and keeps the group in line. Buttercup, who has a short black bob and wears green, is the toughest fighter. She likes fighting and danger, has a short temper, and doesn't put up with anyone's crap. She's the last one of the bunch who's BAD side you'd want to get on!
The Girls were created in a lab by Professor Utonium when he accidentally added Chemical X to his mixture of Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice. When they aren't fighting crime, they attend Pokey Oakes Kindergarten, watch Puppet Pals on TV, and play Jacks with Julie, their next door neighbor. They're basically your average 5-year-olds with super powers.
Since Townsville hosts a sizeable population of villains and social miscreants, the Girls are kept busy. Whenever there's trouble in town, the Mayor gives them a call on the Powerpuff Hotline and it's only moments before they're to the rescue.
