20/4/99Okay, confession time: when I was younger I used to get up at 5am on Christmas day to open my presents, I'm very impatient about those sorts of things - which is why the winners of the Cheerleading Squad Awards are being announced today!  See who won here.  Congratulations guys.  And thanks to everyone who took the time to vote. 06/4/99Updated members & items. Updated the links page. Updated the Baby Ernest Adoption Program. The new topic is up on the message board: How do you think the gang will change in college? Will they be able to keep up their stellar academic  performances? Please take part in this guys.   Jennifer is kind of depressed that no one is taking part & that's making me sad. *sniff* I'm considering removing the message board altogether.  What do you think if I replaced it with a weekly or fortnightly chat?  If I don't get many respondents for either the message board or the chat then I'll remove the message board and that'll be that. We're inching that much closer to the big 100, and with the 100th member I'll unveil a new look to the site.  Exciting, no? Oh, and please keep the votes rolling in, I love finding my mailbox crammed with messages. :)
04/4/99Updated members & items. Updated the links page. The nominees for best non-cheerleader site are now up, so cheerleaders can now go vote. Thanks to SpiffyGalX the Cheerleader gif is now available in yellow & maroon, Sunnydale High's colours!  You don't have to change it, but if you want to drop me a line & I'll send the new gif your way.
02/4/99Updated members & items. Removed some font styles from Sample Patches & added some new ones. The award voting is going well, but I still need a few more site nominations from cheerleaders - c'mon guys!

20/3/99Updated members & items. Updated the Baby Ernest Adoption Program. Nine more days 'til the award voting starts - I realise that I'm existing in a different time zone to most members of the club, so for most of you the award voting will actually start on the 28th.
16/3/99Updated members & items. Also updated the links. Added some text to the Awards page - less than a fortnight to go! Updated the Baby Ernest Adoption Program.
09/3/99Updated members & items. Added a new section for cheers -- Music, this can be for bands or songs that have appeared on the show or for songs that remind you of, or that you want to dedicate to a character. Changed the look of the main page slightly. Added a couple of banners to be used to link to the awards page -- PLEASE don't put these on your page until the voting period actually starts (that's the 29th of this month) to save confusion, and don't forget to take them down once it's over.  I'll put up another reminder about them just before the voting starts.

21/2/99I made three new banners for the site & finally got round to adding the html codes to copy and paste. Updated members and items. Well, no one has offered to look after the webring (yet!) but I have set it up, so you can join it here.  Oh yeah, and we joined a new webring. :) And something else that's new - Jobs on Offer.  It's... well... Ah, just go see it. Okay, one more new thing - The Baby Ernest Adoption Program.   Another one you just have to see for yourself.

Jennifer has announced that she will be glad to take charge of the message board.  The weekly topic will be announced on the main page, so keep your eyes out.  The first topic is now up!! I still need someone who would like to look after a webring - I'll do all the boring stuff like setting up the account and creating the graphic and html code, all you have to do is be in charge of placements in the ring itself.
16/2/99Members and items updated.  Updated the links. Okay gang, I've got a couple of jobs on offer here to do with the site.  One is to be in charge of the message board another is to be in charge of a new webring (exclusively for members of the squad).  The message board won't take much looking after, just putting up a weekly topic starter (I hardly ever get around to visiting it).   The webring probably won't involve that much work either, but for both of these jobs I want people who are going to be dedicated.  Plus if you want you can make up your own funky title that you can command people to call you. :)  This is going to be on a first come first serve basis. So if you want a job just ask. Hopefully I'll have more jobs around the site on offer soon.  And if you can think of a job or something new for the site then let me know.

Just thought you should know. :) Updated members & items pages.   Two new item categories: The Show Itself - this is for reasons why you love the show, your fav directors, producers and now even the actors, also for scenes or episodes that you thought were well done technically - & Relationships - which is pretty self-explanatory. Finally added some links to the webrings & links page.   All the links on this page will be suggested by the members of the squad.
03/2/99Updated members and items pages.  Added a bunch of new cool fonts and backgrounds to sample patches along with the links to the pages I got them from at the bottom of the page.   As you may have noticed the site has been spruced up a little. Now, the big news; I've decided to make the Cheerleader site awards a quarterly affair.   So the next round of voting will take place in March-April instead of having to wait until July.

27/12/98One month has been and gone; that was quick. Took down the decorations.  Put up a new administrative page: Joining Requirements.  This should hopefully make it clear on what you can and can't cheer for and all that guff.  Usual updates: members and items.  Remember: December 28th site award nominations and votes begin!
22/12/98The Sunnydale High Cheerleading Squad Awards page is up - go here to find out what it's all about.  Updated members and items.  I've put up Adventures in Cheerleading, along with a couple of challenges for those of you who would like to give it a try.  I've changed a few things with the rules (yes, it's a plural now) - you can cheer for up to ten things now, but to make up for it you must have reasons for each thing you cheer for (and remember for ep.s they have to be fairly good - look at Lori's page for an example).
