In this third and final part of the "Back to the Future" series, Doc Brown, the creator of the time-traveling DeLorean, goes back to 1885 - the heyday of the Old West and his favorite era. There, he falls in love with a beautiful school teacher.

However, Marty must rescue the doctor from treacherous Mad Dog Tannen. But Dr Brown doesn't want to leave because of his newfound romance. Marty has to find a way to bring Doc back to the future without destroying the pattern of time.
