Astrological Map
Astrological Map         I found this layout in the book called Maps of Consciousness (I forgot who the author was), which relates to the astrological map for the day (hence the name). This layout corresponds to the cross part of the Celtic Cross. Only the Major Arcana is used for this layout because some decks associate the Major Arcana cards with either the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, planets, or zodiac signs. The numbers indicate the order the cards are laid (according to the book):
  1. represents what is coming, what is becoming stronger in influence, the developing trend of the immediate future, the direction of growth.
  2. represents what is passing, what is declining in influence, a waning factor of the recent past, or something that ties us to the past.
  3. represents what is manifesting, what is now being openly expressed in relation to the world and others.
  4. represents what is hidden, an unexpressed factor in the situation, latent yet active below awareness, an unmanifest tendency
  5. is the key card, the integrating factor, that which is needed or indicated to bring these four tendencies or influences into balance: the primary focus for understanding the situation
In astrology, the first four cards correspond to the times of the day of awareness (in that order): dawn of the planet, its dusk, its highest point on earth and other side of the earth respectively. They also correspond to Sakura card numbers 6, 4, 5, and 3 on the Celtic Cross respectively. You find out what planet the Major Arcana cards represent since I do not know myself.
