"You mean a lot to Ned." said Monica.
"I know in the past I hurt your family." said Alexis.
"In Edward's eyes." said Alan.
Alexis laughed.
"I understand what you had to do. You had to think of yourself. You wanted to live and the only way to do that was obey an old hag." said Monica.
"Thanks for always believing in me." said Alexis smiling.
"What you did for me during that trial is thanks enough." said Monica.
"Besides what's family for." said Alan.
He kissed Alexis on the forehead and left the room.
"He's still recovering." said Monica.
"At least he's getting better." said Alexis.
"I better go. I'm sure Emily wants to see you." said Monica.
She hugged Alexis and left the room. Lulu woke up.
"Hey, sleepyhead." said Alexis smiling.
"Where is everybody?" asked Lulu.
"They'll be back." said Alexis.
Lulu sat up as Emily walked in.
"Hey, Alexis! Hey, Lulu!" said Emily smiling.
"Hi, Emily." said Lulu smiling.
Emily hugged the little girl.
"How are you feeling?" asked Emily.
"Better. I'm sorry to hear about your grandparents." said Alexis.
"Thanks. I heard the good news." said Emily.
"About the baby?" asked Alexis.
"Yeah. Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?" asked Emily.
"Not yet, but we'll let you know. Did you talk to Nikolas today?" asked Alexis.
"Yeah, he feels just as bad as me. I feel like it's a nightmare that I can't wake up from." said Emily.
"I know that feeling all too well." said Alexis.
She hugged the girl knowing her pain. Reginald walked in.
"Emily, it's time to go." said Reginald.
"Thanks. Get better." said Emily.
"I will and you should get some sleep." said Alexis.
"I will. Bye, Lulu." said Emily.
"Bye." said Lulu.
Emily left the room.
"I hope you get better, Ms. Davis." said Reginald.
"Thank you." said Alexis.
Then he left the room as Alexis played with the little girl's hair. Ned and Nikolas came back in.
"Come on, Lulu, it's time to go." said Nikolas.
"Do I have to go?" complained Lulu.
"We'll see her tomorrow at the services." said Nikolas.
"Okay. Bye, Alexis." said Lulu as she hugged her.
"Bye, Lulu." said Alexis.
Then Nikolas hugged her.
"Bye, mama." Nikolas whispered into her ear.
"Bye, my little prince." whispered Alexis.
He kissed her on each cheek and then left with Lulu. Ned watched them go and turned to Alexis.
"You're free to leave tonight and services are being held tomorrow." said Ned.
"That's the best news I've heard all day." said Alexis smiling.
"There's more. I heard on the news today that Helena, Marino, Dr. Jones, and Helena's boy toy were killed by Sonny Corinthos." he said.
"How did he do it?" she asked.
"He snuck on board the jet and took over the flying. Marino shot Dr. Jones and later Sonny shot Ari. Then he bailed out of the jet as it skidded into a wall and then it burst into flames. All four were found dead." he said.
"That's better than getting out of the hospital. I forgot that Helena doesn't know how to fly a jet let alone ride a tricycle." she said smiling.
"At least they can't ruin anymore lives." he said.
"No, but she got what she wanted. I hope she rots in Hell for what she's done." she said.
He hugged her and then kissed her.
"She can't hurt you, me, or the baby anymore." he said.
"I know, but she hurt Nikolas. The one person she said she'd never hurt." she said.
"Never believe a pile of old bones." he said.
She laughed and he sat down on the bed next to her.
V had just gotten home.
"I see the house is still standing. Did you hear the news?" asked V.
"Yeah, and we decided the world has come to an end." said Jax.
"Tonight we'll be expecting two people." said V.
"Who?" asked AJ.
"Ned and Alexis." said V.
The two men started to protest.
"This is MY house and if you don't like it then leave!" said V angrily.
They were shocked by her outburst.
"I know you don't like Ned, but those two have nowhere else to go. You guys have to get along for Alexis's sake and mine because she's five months pregnant anf if she has anymore stress put on her she's gonna have a premature birth!" said V angrily and exasperated.
"Sorry, V." they said ashamed.
"Much better and I expect all of you to be on your best behavior. I explained the rules to Ned so don't think he didn't get his pep talk." said V.
She went into the kitchen to try and make dinner. AJ and Jax looked at each other and then burst out laughing.
Sonny walked into Luke's house and saw him laying on the couch playing with a gun.
"Hey, man, did you see me on the news?" asked Sonny smiling.
"Yeah, pretty smooth, man, pretty smooth." said Luke smiling.
"How are you and the kids handling?" asked Sonny.
"Lucky is handling it pretty well, Lulu is doing fine, and I just want to die." said Luke.
Sonny sat across from him.
"I can't live without her. She was my heart, my soul, the reason I lived and breathed. I tried to kill myself, but I couldn't do it." said Luke sadly.
"Luke, you still have a reason for living because you got your kids. They're a part of your heart and soul." said Sonny.
Luke fiddled with the gun and Sonny took it from him.
"Look, man, have a drink, take a nap, but don't kill yourself. You got two kids who love and need you." said Sonny.
"I know, but I have an emptiness inside of me. How do you deal with the pain, Sonny?" asked Luke.
"The best way I can which is one day at a time." said Sonny.
Luke sighed and Sonny got up.
"Take care of yourself and don't do anything stupid." said Sonny.
He left and Luke got up to leave.
