Carly was in the kitchen making a microwaveable dinner. She went to the doorway and saw Jason reading to Michael about Africa. She smiled to herself knowing he was a great father. Then the microwave beeped. She went to go check on her instant meal.
"Hey, Jason, what microwave dinner do you want?" called Carly.
"Chili. After I'm done I'll feed Michael." called Jason.
Carly popped in the chili and sat at the table eating her lasagna.
Ned had gone to get a cup of coffee when Luke entered Alexis's room.
"Good evening, Natasha. Did you hear the good news?" asked Luke.
"Yes, I did. So what brings you here? Preying on young girls for their blood?" asked Alexis smiling.
"That's supposed to be about your family." he said.
"Not anymore." she said.
"I came to give you a family, Natasha." he said.
"I already have one." she said.
"If anything happens to me will you take care of my kids?" he asked.
"Sure, but wouldn't Bobbie take care of them? After all she is your sister." she said.
"Barbara Jean has enough people to take care of right now." he said.
"Why are you asking me this?" she asked.
"Bye, Natasha." he said.
He kissed her cheek and left.
"LUKE!!! Luke, come back here!!!" she shouted.
Ned heard her yelling and ran in.
"What's wrong?" asked Ned.
"Luke is going to kill himself!! He's giving me his kids!!" she said panicking.
"What do you want me to do?" he asked.
"Go after him!!!" she shouted.
He went into the hall looking for him and then he went out to the parking lot searching for his car. He found his car and saw Luke.
"Luke? Luke, can I talk to you?" asked Ned.
He knocked on the window, but Luke didn't look up. Ned opened the door and a gun fell out of Luke's hand. Ned looked at Luke and saw that he shot himself in the head. Ned ran back into the hospital to get a doctor. The doctors brought in his body as Ned ran into Alexis's room.
"What happened?" she asked starting to panic.
"Luke shot himself in the head." he said.
"NO!! He didn't do it!! He has a family!!" she said panicking.
"Alexis, calm down. You don't want to put the baby under more stress." he said.
She took in a few deep breaths and he sat down beside her taking her hand. A nurse came in with a clipboard.
"Ms. Davis, I'd like you to sign these." said the nurse.
Alexis signed the papers and she was released.
"I've got to get to the Spencers' house." she said.
"We'll go right now." he said.
They went out to the parking lot where the police had arrived.
"Ms. Davis, can I talk to you?" asked Garcia.
"I'm sorry, detective, but I have to get to the Spencers' house." she said.
"It will only take a minute." said Garcia.
"I'll get the car." said Ned to Alexis.
She nodded her head as Garcia took her aside. He handed her a piece of paper.
"What is this?" she asked.
"A will naming you guardian of his children instead of his sister." said Garcia.
"He never told me there was a will." she said.
"What did he tell you?" asked Garcia.
"He told me he was giving me a family. He told me if anything happened to him I would take care of his kids." she said.
"What about his sister?" asked Garcia.
"I asked him that and he said she was taking care of enough people." she said.
"Thank you, Ms. Davis. You can go home now." said Garcia.
Ned pulled the car around and she got in.
Nikolas and Lulu got home.
"Did you have fun at the park?" asked Nikolas.
She nodded her head and went upstairs to play in her room.
AJ opened the door.
"Hey, come on in. V, you have visitors!" called AJ.
"I'll be there in a minute!" called V.
"Hi, Jax." said Felicia.
"Hey, how are my two favorite girls?" asked Jax.
"We just bought a house right next to V!" said Maxie excitedly.
"That's great!" said Jax smiling.
"We're also next to Carly and Jason." said Felicia.
"This should be interesting." said AJ smiling.
"You're telling me." said Felicia smiling.
V walked in.
"Hey, Felicia, how's it going? Dinner is almost ready, you two." said V.
"Let's go eat." said AJ.
AJ and Jax went into the kitchen.
"We're doing great." said Felicia.
"We live right next door to you." said Maxie.
"You do?" asked V smiling.
Maxie nodded her head.
"You'll have to come visit me everyday." said V smiling.
"We will." said Maxie.
"Believe me she keeps her promises." said Felicia smiling.
V laughed and the girls chimed in. Then the phone rang and V got up to answer it.
"Hello? Hey, Ned...Oh no...That's horrible...Okay, I understand and hopefully they'll all be home...Yeah...I'll see you tomorrow...Bye." said V.
"What happened?" asked Felicia.
"How about you two go in and help the boys eat their dinner." said V smiling.
"Okay." said the girls.
They ran into the kitchen giggling.
"That bad?" asked Felicia.
"Luke shot himself in the head." said V sadly.
"Why? He had kids that needed him." said Felicia.
"He couldn't live without Laura and it was too great a pain for him." said V.
"I can understand that because I almost lost Mac." said Felicia.
"Well, I better get going. Thanks for dinner." said Lucky.
"Anytime. I'll see you tomorrow." said Elizabeth.
He hugged and kissed her.
"Bye." said Lucky.
"Bye." said Elizabeth.
Lucky started to walk home.
"Elizabeth!" called Audrey.
"Coming, grams!" called Elizabeth.
Elizabeth walked in.
"What is it?" asked Elizabeth.
"Phone call." said Audrey.
Elizabeth picked up the phone.
"Hello?" said Elizabeth.
"Hi, Elizabeth. This is Ned Ashton, Emily's cousin." said Ned.
"Hi, Mr. Ashton. What's wrong?" asked Elizabeth.
"I need to speak with Lucky." said Ned.
"He just left my house to go home. Is something wrong?" asked Elizabeth.
"Yes. Thank you." said Ned.
"You're welcome." said Elizabeth.
She hung up the phone and started to worry.
