Angel looked up at Oz, who was strumming his guitar. He thought about it, then nodded. "Come to think of it- yeah. Everything we've talked about today, he finds someone to connect it with Willow."
Oz scratched his head and pondered, "Do you think it's possible that...?"
"Yeah, I do. He's different. Remember when he used to call me "Dead-Boy" and you "Wolf-Boy"? He doesn't do it at all anymore. I know he's older, but I never thought I'll see the day that Xander would change. He seems to pay attention to Willow more. It is possible."
Oz coughed as the subject of their conversation walked in, with a bag of M&M's. He offered them some, but the two declined. Oblivious to the conversation that he had walked into, Xander launched into another story about an old clubhouse in the Rosenburg backyard.
Angel and Oz glanced at each other and nodded. It sure was possible.

Willow plopped herself down next to Xander and pushed "play" on the remote control. She put the bowl of buttery popcorn between them and propped her feet on the table.
"What are we watching?" Xander asked as he grabbed a handful of popcorn.
"My Best Friend's Wedding! I haven't seen it in years!"
Xander sighed. This was one of Willow's favorite movies. He didn't know why. The girl didn't get the guy and she should have. Oh well. Anything for Willow.

(an hour or so later...)
Willow grabbed a tissue and dabbed her eyes. The scene where Julia Roberts and Dermot Mulroney danced on the boat was her favorite scene. It was so sad.
As Mulroney sang her favorite song from the movie, she realized how much the movie seem to parallel her teenage years. It was almost exactly the same, even down to the hair color of the three characters. Julia Robert's hair was red like Willow's; Dermot Mulroney's hair was dark brown like Xander's; and Cameron Diaz's hair was blonde like Buffy's (not that she had to worry about Xander marrying Buffy or anything). She didn't even know why she liked this movie so much. The girl didn't get the guy in the end....Was that supposed to be some predicament of her and Xander's future? Wait. Why did she care about Xander and her's future? It's not like she was in love with him. Sure.
Willow snorted at her thoughts, then giggled as Xander mumbled in his sleep...something about stepping in paint. He had fallen asleep halfway through the movie. She stood up and carefully put Xander's feet on the couch. She covered him with a blanket and leaned down and kissed his cheek.
"‘Nite, Xander. Sweet dreams."
She headed toward the stairs, but then paused. Turning around, she looked at the sleeping form.
"I love you." she whispered.
