"Alright, Ash! This time it's for real!" Jessie yelled. They were once again in the midst of another battle with Ash and Pikachu. Just as everyone was going to send out their Pokemon, two figures emerged from the shadows. A blond haired girl started their chant.
"Prepare for trouble!"
"Make it double!"
"To infect the world with devastation!"
"To blight all people's within our nation!"
"To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"
"To extend our wrath to the stars above!"
"Cassidy!"
"Butch!"
"We're Team Rocket! And we circle the earth all day and night!"
"Surrender to us or you will certainly loose the fight!"
"That's right!"
"Another Team Rocket?" asked Ash stunned. "Ugh, they're just some posers!" Jessie scoffed. "There can only be one Team Rocket!" James proclaimed. "Yeah, they're just a couple copy cats!" Meowth chimed in. Cassidy, taking offense, "What are you talking about?" "Yeah!" Butch chimed in, "We're as much a part of Team Rocket as you losers!" Jessie, getting annoyed, "Can't you see that we're in the middle of something?" "Yeah! Blast off!" James yelled. Turned back to Ash, but he and Pikachu are gone. "AH! Where did they go?" Jessie, very angry, "Grrrr! The little twerps must have run off!" She angrily turned towards Butch and Cassidy. "This is all your fault!" she screamed. "Don't blame your failure on us!" Butch shot back at her. James glared at him, and put his hands on Jessie's shoulders and said sweetly to her, "Don't worry, Jess. You know we'll see them again." She put her hands on top of his, "It's not that. It's just that, I was doing so well and-" She realized that the other two were still there and stopped. "Why wouldn't you be doing well?" Cassidy asked with a hint of concern. "I'm not! I'm fine!" Jessie loudly assured her. "Besides it's none of your business!" James yelled also. Cassidy, condescendingly said, "Ooo! Touchy!" "Shut up, Cass!" Butch said curtly to her. "Hey!" she said back, "Why are you yelling at me for? I'm on your side!" "Are you questioning me?" Butch asked menacingly. Cassidy gets very quiet, very quick. "Hmmm?" he prompted. After a long pause and looking at the ground, she uttered a very quiet, "No." Butch slapped her across the face and it knocked her to the ground. "Are you?" he screamed down at her again. "No." she said a little louder. Jessie and James stand off to the side watching the spectacle before their eyes. "Are you going to let him treat you like that?" Jessie said in awe to her former gal pal. "She's never complained before!" Butch informed Jessie. "Did you ever give her the chance?" Jessie screamed back. Cassidy, still on the ground and trying to keep anything else from happening, "Jess! Please!" "Didn't I tell you to be quiet?" Butch went to smack her again but Meowth flew through the air and scratched Butch across the face. Cassidy sees this as her chance. She pulled herself to her feet and began to run and never looked back. Butch trying to stop the bleeding on his face, "You'll pay for that, cat!" looking around for Cassidy, "Where the hell is she?" "She's gone!" Jessie informed him. "And it's about time!" James added. Butch again wiped his face. "What's your deal?" Jessie questioned. "Just who do you think you are, going around and hitting women?" James demanded. Glaring at the couple, "I'm the one that's gonna take you jobs! Prepare to be replaced, James! You and your little slut!" As the last words left his mouth, James' fist entered Butch's face. Butch fell to the ground and did not move. James walked up and stood above him. "Get up." he stated. Butch didn't move but he opened his eyes and looked up at the purple haired powerhouse. "Now!" he yelled. James grabbed Butch by the shirt collar and dragged him to his feet. James held him up by his shirt collar and Butch's feet dangled in the air. "Now you listen to me," James sternly said, "I don't care where you go or what you do. But if you
ever talk disrespectfully about her again, I will find you, and believe me, you won't want me there. Understand?" Butch violently shook his head yes. Jessie walked up next to James and looked up at the green haired goon. "Should I let him go?" James asked her. "Hmmm. I don't know," she said coyly, "That was a pretty nasty thing to say." "Yep," James agreed. "What would your mother say if she heard you talking like that?" she asked Butch. Butch looked down at ground and didn't answer. "Don't feel like talking? That's funny, you had plenty to say a few minutes ago." He again didn't answer. "Answer her!" James yelled as he shook him. Butch's eyes got very wide and then he passed out in James' grip. Jessie and James looked at each other. Jessie shrugged, "I guess you were just a tad too forceful." "Well, he should watch his mouth!" James said as he dropped Butch on the ground. "Well, he can get a doctor to do that. Come on," she pat him on the arm, "Let's get out of here before someone comes looking for him." James looked at her at the thought that someone might actually care about this green haired idiot. "Let's just go," James suggested.

Later up in the hot air balloon. Jessie leaned on the side, looking over the edge. James walked up behind her and began to rub her shoulders, "Are you ok?" "No, I'm not." she answered as she turned to face him. "You look tired, Jess." "Thanks for the compliment," she sighed as she hugged him and leaned her head against his chest. "What are you thinking about?" he asked as he rubbed his hands on her back. "I just can't believe Cassidy! It was so hard for me to watch that!" she said looking up at him. "I know," James said supportively. "No, you don't!" she continued, "We used to be such good friends! I can't believe she let him do that to her!" "And it sounds like it wasn't the first time either." James added. "I wouldn't have believed she would have him do that. And in front of me, no less!" she said in disbelief. "At least she left," James said assuringly. "I don't know. I hope she doesn't go back to help him. Or worse, he comes looking for her," she thought worriedly. "What'll you think she'll do now?" James asked her, trying to get the her mind off the violence of the incident, "It sounds like she's out of Team Rocket." Jessie thought for minute, "Well, she always did have an affection for Pokemon breeding." Jessie and James looked at each other in the realization of their same ideas at the same time.
