GeoCities ~ An excellent provider of free space. Gives you four options of building a site. A HTML Advanced Editor where you do all of the HTML, a Basic Editor where you fill in the blanks, GeoBuilder a good but slow page builder or Yahoo Page Builder an excellent tool to use, very fast and very good. You get 11MB space plus they have Pages that Pay & Yahoo Mail account. A very long url.
Angelfire ~ Get 20MB space. Must know HTML but you do get a good shortish url, eg. www.angelfire.com/ka/yourname .
FortuneCity ~You can set up a site for businesses especially or just for personal use. You get a fair amount of space and it is generally good.
Hypermart ~ You can either purchase a domain name or get a free acount with an url like this: yourname.hypermart.com/ . Lots of space. But they have this VERY annoying rule where people with free e-mail accounts aren't allowed to join. I have a free e-mail and I was VERY annoyed!
Xoom ~ Unlimited webspace. Easy-Page Builder or HTML option. Free clipart and e-mail account. Plus counters, chatrooms and more. Good service.
Tripod ~ I couldn't find out much about this but it seems good. You get to sell items/auction on your site and earn a percentage of the income.
Homestead ~ Have a considerably good service and you don't need to know HTML because they have a good page building tool. But they also have normal editor.
These are the best ones around. If you find any good services please e-mail me.
