My New Novel

11/30/98

Blake Stenslin, nerd

As you probably figured out already, I’m a writer on top of everything else. But I don’t just write snappy columns for this site. Oh no, I delve into some of the serious fiction as well. Someday I plan to write novels as a job. I would like to do mysteries someday, but right now I’m trying my creative hand at Science Fiction. I know I’ll never be an Asimov but dare to dream right. So I figured that I might share will all the readers out there a sample of a little project I’ve been working on. It’s a gonna be a novel, well 12 novels actually. It’s the story of a planet a lot like earth only the sun is burning out. So they decide to send a space ark to find a new planet only it is lost in a space warp and ends up on the other side of the universe and they find that everyone is a robot. Take a read and tell me what you think. I’ll bring you up to speed. Right now, the leader of the high council Greesnuf-nel has decided to hold a meeting with the robot race to see if there can be peace. Our Hero, Tcat-suf doesn’t believe that the robots can ever help them get home and save his planet, so he’s now stowing away on an enemy cargo ship in order to sneak onto the robots home world

Chapter 12 Tcat-suf’s rebellion

The air was getting thin on the cruiser as they got closer to the robot world of Technostio. He failed to realize that the robots would not need air in their ship. He only had what happened to be on board to breathe but that was running out fast. Tcat-suf’s mind was racing. He wondered if he’d ever see his beautiful world of Bjfrot again. Images of the rolling hills of Skesutali on the second sunrise ran though his mind. It brought him peace.

Just as he began to feel his consciousness leave him the ship landed and air once again filled his lung. He snuk out of the ship after dark and began his investigation. He knew Greesnuf-nel was a fool for trusting the Technos. Their purely logical minds could not be trusted. They would never go out of their way to save a dying race. So he new it was up to him to find out what they needed to know. He was gonna do it for his dear love Dfas-buf.

That’s just a little taste. If you really want more, feel free to e-mail me and I’ll put it up next time. Thanks for the support everyone.
