YRU-UpdateRap Video Output Doubled Thanks to Invention of Reverse Fish-Eye Lens1/15/99

LOS ANGELES CA. – In a field that seemed to be running out of steam, the invention of a new reverse fish-eye lens seems to have breathed new life into the ailing rap video market. The revelation couldn’t have come at a better time, for many people close to the industry felt that the current fish-eye lens usage was in danger of growing stale. “This new revolution in lens technology is a huge leap forward in what rappers can do to express themselves visually,” says former Fugee, Jean Wyclef. “Instead of everything being really big in the center of the screen, now it’s small. And even my bitches know that’s where it’s at.” | ![]() |

My new video features the reverse lens, and the look is fucked up man. You thought it was all-good when stuff was all big, you’re not gonna believe your shit when you see this shit. It’s all small,” Wyclef went on to say. Some hard-liners are skeptical of this new lens. Rapper and noted sampler Puff Daddy took time from his latest studio session to publicly warn people not to get their hopes up. “Fuck, I’ve heard this talk about this lens and I have to wonder if it’s really gonna do all it promises for the art of video making. I mean, I want my face all big an shit when I rap into it while it’s sitting on the floor. Besides, I think it’s just a crutch anyway, bitch. It stops people from doing more creative stuff, like shit with gangsters and boat chases.” |
“I just think it opens up whole areas of unexplored artistic expression,” Wyclef added finally. “Just imagine what it’ll look like what you put a huge bootie in front of that fucker.”
