YRU-Up, One Man's ViewVegas Vacation |  |
A couple weekends back, my compatriot and I went on a trip to Las Vegas. The reason for our journey shall remain secret, for they might make me seem lame. So let’s just say the trip was purely for fun. Now let me get a few things straight, I’m not 21 yet, so in the town of Las Vegas, I’m not really allowed to do much of anything. So gambling and heavy drinking were pretty much out. But that’s okay because Vegas is more of a family spot then ever. There were rollercoasters, classy restaurants, and fun arcades, all of which, I didn’t go to. But that’s okay, cause the place sure looked neat.
But one thing Vegas still had, was hard core pornography. And boy did it have that. You can stroll down road and look at all the porno mags in those newspaper dispenser things. Not to mention all the discarded pornography that littered the streets. And who can forget the many people who stood on the sidewalk, and tried to hand you cards for strip clubs, and hookers. Those cards of course featured very naked women on them. Plus, there were all those women who just walked around topless, for no reason at all…well okay, that didn’t happen. But it really seemed like it could have. It was a warm night after all.
Still, I tried to rise above all the filth, because I’m that type of person. I purchased very few of the magazines, and I of course did my best not to go to those strip clubs and hookers. Instead I took pictures of junk and I smoked big cigars, all the while pretending to be cool. Because frankly, that is what Vegas is all about. Well that, and having crazy old women telling you about all the fun rides to go on, while you’re waiting in line at McDonalds. So over all, as a city, Vegas gets an A-. Until Next time.
