Thankgiving Hello
11/30/98

Well I hope everyone out there had a great thanksgiving. What a great holiday I must tell you. Good food, good friends and of course, the relatives. And what could be more fun then them? Well I had none of that this year. I decided to celebrate thanksgiving the way it was meant to be. It was a lot like the way the pilgrims had it. Except instead of lots of people there was only me. And instead of having food to eat, I had McDonalds. I guess it was in fact nothing like thanksgiving in any form, other then the fact that I planted a fish with my corn.

But you know I'm not bitter. I did get to watch some football, Go Vikings! Plus a McNugget is a lot like a turkey in a lot of ways, and if you squint, you could confuse the sweet and sour sauce for cranberries. And feel I learned something as well. Don't try and get fast food of any kind on Thanksgiving, they all close for some reason. Well all of them except for that 24-hour drive thru Mickey-D's in the gas station. Yum yum.

But one must not forget that it's about the thanking and the giving. And I had plenty to be thankful for this year. Like I was really glad to not be quite dead and lets not forget the Steve Miller Band. And I was sure thankful for the invention of the deep fryer, which had made this meal, and of course for the super size option.

Well, enough from me for now. Once again, I hope you all had a super day and don't shop too much this holiday season. The economy is too bloated as it is.
