The 1st annual Lolo Awards

Lolo Award. I made it myself

Welcome to the 1st annual Lolo Awards!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a true TV lover. I know more about TV than the average person should. Granted, I know a lot less than your average TV connoisseur, but my friends sometimes think I'm a freak anyway. Well, this is my chance to give a pat on the back to people in television I really like. The nominees for the Lolo Awards (named after my childhood nickname, "Lolo", given to me by my baby sister who couldn't say "Lori". I know. A-w-w-w-w-w.)were announced in April. They were decided by me and all but the Station Superlatives were voted on by me. To be nominated, the shows the nominations were based on must have had a first run on television between April 1, 1997 and March 31, 1998. Votes were accepted through July 15, 1998. The nominations are pretty biased towards comedies and the shows I watch. I figure no big stars are going to write and complain. They won't be hurt by not receiving the prestigious Lolo. With that out of the way, here are the nominees and subsequent winners (in red). At the bottom of the page is the Station Superlatives, the awards voted on by visitors to my page. Of course, if you really don't care about my awards, you can click here to go straight to the Superlatives. Yeah, everything is always about you, you, you....

Yearbook Awards a.k.a. Station Superlatives
I have to admit, I received more votes than I expected for this. Of course, that's not saying much. I expected my mom to vote and that was about it. Voters were asked to vote for one male and one female in each category. As you will see, we had quite a few ties for the Superlatives. Again, the winners are all in red. Thanks to everyone who voted. I expect you all to come back and do it again next year. :
